Veterinarian

Saved my Brittany spaniel, amazing staff and treatment of both pets and owners. Responded with urgent triage when we called and let them know we were on our way when our little guy crashed. If you need real urgent care, this is the place to be.

AMAZING VETS AND STAFF

Great service with reasonable prices. Highly recommended to all pet lovers.

Hawkins is great. I wish more places greeted their clients with the smiles that the staff at Hawkins does. Would not take my dog anyplace else.

Polite & Patient is the DHAH team, Pleased are we and our Pet Sasha !

Just got a new kitten and the staff have been very helpful and courteous.

Now that I have found the Animal Care Clinic I will never take my pets anywhere else. The vets as well as the entire staff there are phenomonal. Dr Joy is the greatest!

Amazing care for your Kitties. Highly recommended Dr. Long.

I've been to other emergency clinics and I only come here now. The weekday vet is amazing. Sensitive and caring. We rescue and need an emergency vet a lot.

Doctor Zia has been nothing but caring, knowledgeable and fair with both my dogs. I transferred their file to Derry Road Animal hospital so it's closer to home and it's the best decision I made for our 2 dogs...the staff is amazing, prices are exceptionally fair and Doctor Zia is by far the best vet I ever dealt with. I have friends that take their pets there and I strongly recommend this clinic to anyone ... one of my dogs has alot of skin issues and Dr. Zia always tried to go the best and financially fitting route ...Doesnt rip off customers and really really cares for his patients...He is very knowledgeable and I trust him 100% with my 2 babies. Sincerely Nahla and Akuas owners.

Great service, all of the staff is so friendly. Dr Mel is very helpful and kind and willing to discuss any questions we have.

Friendly staff... Very helpful

We drive from Montreal to Brockville for our appointments. We have had the best service ever! We dont have to wait and are helped at our appointment time. They dont pressure you to over vaccinate or over medicate. The vet seems to care about the pets more than the profits. They also suggested natural medicines for pain and stiffness in my older dog which doesnt bring a dime to their facility. They also sent us a lovely letter when our dog passed away suddenly. Couldn't recommend them more!

Dr.Kelly is the best! Your pets get the best care at Island City...

They were so friendly and helpful, lots of follow up calls to check in too.

The skilled and caring Vets and staff have treated our pets with consideration and compassion. They have cared for 6 of our rescued dogs/cats who have/had significant medical issues as a result of being feral or from tragic circumstances of abuse and neglect. The Vets only recommend testing or treatment that is essential as they are conscious of cost and the impact on the family and other pets. The staff always remember our pets names and issues and treat them like they are their own, particularly those with anxiety. My daughter brings her dogs from Ottawa because she has not found any Vets there that compare with the Merrickville clinic.

A little pricey, but excellent staff and caring Dr's
