Mainview Animal Hospital
17 Wilson Dr, Milton, Ontario, L9T 3J7, Canada
We are editing our review today because... at first we thought we had found a knowledgeable vet for our Westie. Our Westie had a ear infection and beginning to have some skin issues. Mainview Clinic was selling us their food and providing the meds that did not help at all, charging for anal gland expression each visit etc. Each visits were "programmed" for a $500.00 charge by the vet! and there were no obvious improvements. The clinic isn't convenient, not being open on Saturdays, and closing early. After another search for an honest and competent vet clinic, we finally found one. Our new vet, the first time diagnosed our dog's problem, prescribed the right antibiotics to resolve the ear issue, then addressed the skin issue and there is a 95% improvement after 3 weeks. Our dog has no food allergies, so no need for the vet food, no need for the $50 weekly anal gland expression etc.
Bottom line! IT IS NOT ALL ABOUT MONEY! I quickly lost faith in Dr. Landsborough and didn't trust him, as the diagnostics were vague, evasive and wrong most importantly, our dog's health was going down the drain. Very Disappointed about this place. It was referred to me by a contact of mine!

We have been at Campus Estates for 8 years with our boxer Schaerf. The staff have always been supportive and kind. Our last appointment was a very emotional one since we were told that our dog had cancer and we did not have much time left. The staff explained everything extremely well and were extremely supportive through the entire process. I would recommennd this vet to everyone! Especially those who are new owners!
Thanks Campus Estates......it has been a pleasure.

Booked and came all the way here to see an ophthalmologist as my doctor couldn't exactly tell what was wrong with my babys eye. When I came they took me in, did the basic assessment with the student, then the nurse came in and told me I would have to book to see the eye doctor on another day as she's too busy today with appointments.
Big long argument about how I had specifically booked an appointment in 2 weeks time to see the eye doctor and that it wasn't my fault if the secretary didn't properly write down the information.
In the end the eye doctor seen the bird- said that they couldn't tell what was wrong with him and that was it. They charged me for the appointments more than what the secretary during the booking told me it would be.
When I was told to wait in the waiting room for my prescription- me being the only one in the room along with another person - I had waited for 45 minutes until I went up asking for a prescription that I was supposed to get 35 minutes ago. They had it on the counter the whole time. They knew I came for my appointment 2 hours ago - & neither of the two receptionists could ask why I was waiting so long now...
It was all so unprofessional. I will never be going back there again. The service from the receptionist are terrible but the angry nurse who thought I had no right to be angry was also just as bad.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! They do not even deserve one star. They do not care about your pet, they just rack up your bill so they can make lots of money. We were left with no answers and we lost our dog Stella.
Unreal experience. Horrible communication, most of the time I had to call them because they still hadn’t called us hours after they promised they would. We didn’t receive a final invoice from them until we got a statement 6 months later. Then I had to ask for the invoice and the invoice amount was wrong. Tried to get it corrected and they refused to follow through on what we had been told, and sent us now to collections after I asked to speak with someone else who could help us resolve our issues. I could go on and on about all our issues with OVC. All I wanted was Stella to get the care she needed, I didn’t care what it cost but I do not stand to be bullied to pay way over what we had been told and promised.
Please do not send your loved pets here. There are better places!

My family and I had a very hard decision to make when it came to the well-being of our fur baby Abby. The staff and vet we’re very kind ,gentle and caring. They were so compassionate, and it made the process easier on our hearts. I believe they go above and beyond for ourselves and our animals. It was very touching to receive a sympathy card in the mail from the hospital regarding Abby and I thank you for that. We had Her cremated and when I went to pick up her ashes they were in a beautiful package, we also had her paw print done as well which is really nice for each of the kids to have for themselves forever. So from beginning to end I felt that this hospital Showed love and kindness. Thank you so much for making such a hard decision a lot easier on our hearts.

My boyfriend and I recently got a puppy and were looking for the perfect veterinarian and clinic. When searching all the other clinics were very brief with me and didn’t really give me the details I needed to feel comfortable with putting my puppy’s health in their hands. I contacted Kortright Animal Hospital and they gave me all the information I requested in order to make me feel at ease as this was such a new experience. Our first appointment was great. They gave us a warm welcome, a tour of the facility and a great consult with Dr. Jones who is so kind. She was fantastic with our pup and gave us so information on everything we were questioning. Even after our appointment the vet techs followed up with me to see how she was doing and again answered all of my questions with things I was worried about. I couldn’t have picked a better clinic.
Thank you guys for making us feel so welcome.
