Everyone is so nice a knowledgeable. Dr. Rana is great with our puppers.

The staff and vets here are super friendly and take great care of the animals that come through. We've taken our puppy here several times for emergencies and for shots. Would highly recommend this place for your pet emergencies. That being said, every time we've been here there's been an issue with admin that we've either caught right away and had to have fixed or else something that's come up and that we've had to call back and ask to have fixed after the fact. For example, we've been billed wrongly several times, or our vaccinations paperwork and sometimes paperwork for insurance claims has had the wrong dates. They've all been relatively easy fixes and the staff are very helpful at changing things, so this is more a forewarning: if you go here, just make sure you check any paperwork you receive before you leave because it's way easier to get it fixed then and there then weeks later over the phone. We've also found that their prices are a little higher compared to other vets in the area and there can be high waiting times if you go in and there's an emergency. Still a great place!

We had a good experience here last weekend. We usually go to another vet but we could not reach them that day as it was Sunday. Everyone in the staff was nice and we received good medical attention for our pup. The only reason why I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they sent us home with a pretty inadequate size dog cone. The size was ridiculous and our dog was in agony with it. I mentioned it when we were still there and the doctor said it was absolutely the right size. I think maybe it was the only size they had left.Our dog could not see, eat or drink and her ears were squished. She had trouble even lifting her head because it was too heavy. It was pretty sad to see. We had to find a store and rush before they closed to get another option. They followed up the next day and we mentioned to them but they seemed not interested in our feedback lol. Other than that, we liked the place and the staff, everything is very clean and everyone has a good attitude. Prices are average or Maybe a little higher than average but nothing too crazy. We did find a better "cone" option which I would recommend you do the same!. Pics below

Dr Calland has been taking care of our Cats and now new kittens for over a decade and we absolutely love him and his work that he has done over the years. He added on years of lives to our first two cats by educating us on nutrition for pets and guided us in the direction we needed to go. Always educating us and loving our pets...he is like part of our family :) I would highly recommend him for any pet you have. He truly is an amazing person and Doctor.

Most dedicated vets and staff. Ive seen reviews where the staff were viewed as sharp or rude. My view is if it weren't for the caring of Dr M and staff, I wouldnt have my cockatoo in my lap or my precious senegal perched on my shoulder right now. These vets techs and staff arw there for our precious feathered kids full stop.

Dr. Anderson is very professional and experienced. He explained my dog's problem very clearly in details. Unlike some other vets Dr. is very thorough--he checked my dog's total health instead of just the one thing I went there for. He makes different options according to the urgency/importance of my dog's condition for me so I can decide what I want to do to fit my budget. No pressure. That's what my friend (who referred me there) says too. The staff is also so nice, helpful, and caring. I would recommend this hospital to my friends for sure.

My 2 cats have been unlucky in the past 6 months and have had a few health issues. Luckily, the entire team at cat care is AMAZING and has given them the best care possible. They really go above and beyond. Dr zutrauen does a wonderful job explaining things, and she and the rest of the team are so helpful and so great with all of their patients. I am so grateful and feel very lucky to have a place that I can trust fully with my beloved pets!

We have been going to Richmond Animal Hospital for several years - Dr Shaufele is incredible. We changed vets briefly some years ago due to a move and regretted doing so. The staff here are caring and professional

My dog and I had a great visit here, granted we only came in for a physical checkup and her basic rabies shots. My previous companion died in a veterinarians hands after being overly mis-prescribed antibiotics and steroids so its taken me some time to even be able to walk into a clinic again, without feeling waves of oncoming PTSD. Im still processing the experience years and years after the fact and haven't felt comfortable with veterinarians here on San Juan Island. Or at least till now! At Islands Veterinary Clinic, my worries were quickly put to rest after meeting Sonja+staff. And even my super-uber-sensitive-startled-by-a-falling-leaf 6yr old pit/boxer was at ease during the appointment.

Amazing staff! Very knowledgeable and caring - I would not go anywhere else. These guys took care of my cats on multiple occasions when we had emergency and stayed behind to help us. The doctor is always very turough and explains patiently what is happening and what to do every time. They also follow up on the animals and have actually helpful suggestions. Could not recommend them more! Thank you for the great work and care!

I have a new rescue dog. She is scared of a lot and tends to lunge and nip at anyone she doesn’t know. At west boulevard vet she was a little scared and they knew exactly how to deal with her. They were soft spoken and handled her with a lot of love. Didn’t take her long to know it was a safe place. Thank you for the best 1st visit. Won’t go anywhere, but there. Barb❤️

Kind vets and staff, reasonable rates, practical advice.

I never tried as a vet clinic, but as a pet hotel is a very nice place. It's 100% trustworthy.

Vet is a nice guy, but feels like he just memorized his textbook. Not enough real knowledge and experience. And definitely overpriced (just went to another clinic for much less).

I love Alex she is a nice doctor with kind heart and lot of knowledge. Totally recommended.
