Booked and came all the way here to see an ophthalmologist as my doctor couldn't exactly tell what was wrong with my babys eye. When I came they took me in, did the basic assessment with the student, then the nurse came in and told me I would have to book to see the eye doctor on another day as she's too busy today with appointments. Big long argument about how I had specifically booked an appointment in 2 weeks time to see the eye doctor and that it wasn't my fault if the secretary didn't properly write down the information. In the end the eye doctor seen the bird- said that they couldn't tell what was wrong with him and that was it. They charged me for the appointments more than what the secretary during the booking told me it would be. When I was told to wait in the waiting room for my prescription- me being the only one in the room along with another person - I had waited for 45 minutes until I went up asking for a prescription that I was supposed to get 35 minutes ago. They had it on the counter the whole time. They knew I came for my appointment 2 hours ago - & neither of the two receptionists could ask why I was waiting so long now... It was all so unprofessional. I will never be going back there again. The service from the receptionist are terrible but the angry nurse who thought I had no right to be angry was also just as bad.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! They do not even deserve one star. They do not care about your pet, they just rack up your bill so they can make lots of money. We were left with no answers and we lost our dog Stella. Unreal experience. Horrible communication, most of the time I had to call them because they still hadn’t called us hours after they promised they would. We didn’t receive a final invoice from them until we got a statement 6 months later. Then I had to ask for the invoice and the invoice amount was wrong. Tried to get it corrected and they refused to follow through on what we had been told, and sent us now to collections after I asked to speak with someone else who could help us resolve our issues. I could go on and on about all our issues with OVC. All I wanted was Stella to get the care she needed, I didn’t care what it cost but I do not stand to be bullied to pay way over what we had been told and promised. Please do not send your loved pets here. There are better places!

Saved my Brittany spaniel, amazing staff and treatment of both pets and owners. Responded with urgent triage when we called and let them know we were on our way when our little guy crashed. If you need real urgent care, this is the place to be.

I can't thank OVC Small Animal Clinic & Cancer Centre enough for saving our English Bulldog. He was diagnosed with myxosarcoma in the front left forelimb and required amputation. Tanya did an amazing job with the surgery and the incision healed beautifully. Our dog also experienced uncontrolled pain episodes pre and post operation. The Surgical and Oncology team took every step necessary to resolve the pain and ensure a good quality of life. Special thanks to everyone at the hospital that helped care for our furbaby. He is now at home enjoying the tripawd life!

We can't say enough about Dr.Alyssa & Dr. Meaghan...they are absolutely amazing! They always take their time with us, answer all our questions and concerns, put our minds to ease and are just really kind, caring, honest and 'down to earth' people. Kristy, Missy and all the office staff are just as wonderful. It is a really happy place to visit. We wouldn't trust our beloved four-legged family members with anyone else🙂

My family and I had a very hard decision to make when it came to the well-being of our fur baby Abby. The staff and vet we’re very kind ,gentle and caring.They were so compassionate, and it made the process easier on our hearts. I believe they go above and beyond for ourselves and our animals. It was very touching to receive a sympathy card in the mail from the hospital regarding Abby and I thank you for that. We had Her cremated and when I went to pick up her ashes they were in a beautiful package, we also had her paw print done as well which is really nice for each of the kids to have for themselves forever. So from beginning to end I felt that this hospital Showed love and kindness. Thank you so much for making such a hard decision a lot easier on our hearts. Nancy Johnson & Family

Dr. Farley is great. Very helpful and supportive. Love the staff, too.

Will not take my German Shepherd anywhere else. Friendly, love the fact they take walk-ins and will make house calls for end of life care for their clients.

Just got a new kitten and the staff have been very helpful and courteous.

The doctors and staff are always wonderfully caring, transparent and accommodating!
