Waterproofing

I was the site Forman on a contract in north London where Tritan chemicals and one of there nominated contractors were involved in the damp proof works on the job. They completely ruined the job there lack of comitment, professionalism and Communication was a joke. Worst company I’ve worked with !!!!!!!!!

Friendly and very professional guys who came to the property. Work was explained during the period they were with us and floor protection and shoe protectors were used. They cleaned up as best as they could when they left and left the room very tidy. Very reasonable and very thorough. I would recommend them to anyone requiring damp proofing.

I had the team into tank our cellar which had a major problem with damp. They came in and finished the job within two days and later installed a ventilation fan. They were incredibly quick, clean and professional. The price I think is fair given the quality of the job. When quoting for the work they stood out as they spent time really understanding how to resolve the damp issue vs. others who just wanted to provide a standard solution which wouldn’t have worked.

Brilliant work would recommend

In the world of waterproofing, specifiers and architect's, Newton Waterproofing systems products are class leading. And a vast range of well researched pumping and control systems to complement the industry.

I would definitely recommend Crown Preservation for damp or dry rot issues. I had various companies visit me due to a case of dry rot in my kitchen. Of all four who came, it was only Declan who had decent equipment, with a camera which could investigate the spores and fruiting bodies within my stud wall and under my floorboards and provide me with helpful advice. After an exposure survey, which some companies also did not offer, they gave me a detailed quote which they stuck to and explained the work that would need be done, taking me through each stage and offering a realistic time frame. When it came to the work, they removed all the affected floor area and plasterwork, treating the rooms, replacing the floor and doing a great re-plastering job. The workers were friendly in general and they managed to cope with my flat being on a busy main road without close parking too much fuss. No obstacle was too big. Would definitely use again. Thanks, Jenny

Called them on a Friday, agreed that he would call me on Monday morning to arrange a time to come round to the property on the Monday or Tuesday. Sent him a text confirming such, and so that he also had my number. Monday morning came and went with no contact being made, called numerous times, no calls returned. Also texted asking if he was going to come the next morning. Tuesday late morning I gave him a call as I had heard nothing, finally got through, he said he thought we were meeting on Wednesday, told this was not the case and that he had been very elusive. He got annoyed and told me to find someone else and hung up. Unbelievably rude, do not use these guys. Cowboys.

Did a great job of repairing my basement. Left the job very tidy. I would recommend this company.
