Wedding Hall

Taking a step back and looking at how my wedding went overall, it was pretty easy for us to see that hiring Simply Weddings to help plan and coordinate our big day was the best investment we possibly could have made for our wedding. I was worried about living in Alberta, and planning a wedding in Halifax, however things seemed to go flawlessly on our day. I had several calls with Claudia early on in my planning process, which certainly made me feel very comfortable with how things were going to go- she also suggested some fabulous vendors which turned out to be great choices! Right before we flew home, I spoke with Kayla at length over the phone discussing all the fine details. When I met Kayla for the first time at our rehearsal, it felt like I was meeting up with an old friend, which put me at ease. She was so confident with everything, and provided us with a very detailed schedule for our day of. Our day went off without a single hitch, Kayla coordinated perfectly with every vendor and kept in touch with my MOH on our wedding day.. And I just can't thank her enough for everything she did for us. I can't imagine how the day would of went without her there, and I can't recommend her highly enough. As previously mentioned, this was by far the best investment I made for our wedding day :) thank you Claudia and Kayla !!!

Great service, fantastic spot for a work function.

Well equipped, clean, spacious venue. Watched the Nova Scotia Mass Choir and Toronto Mass Choir perform here last night and it was a great show!

Was here for a wedding. Great space, awesome food.

Sunday Buffet is what you pay for. Has no omelette bar but does have already prepared french toast. The bacon was served almost raw. Ham for the carving, nice salad bar, and the desserts were good. The casino parking has a charge, free if you get your ticket validated. Also it's a very low garage. They have about 500 slots but only a few single hand video poker machines, no multi hand(very tight). We did appreciate the non-smoking.

A few kind hearted locals put on a dinner and live music every Christmas for the lonely or poor among us.... totally free. The dinner is very good and they create a great atmosphere. That's very rare kindness and generosity in this day and age. A big kudos to the host/s and all the volunteers. 👍

Excellent Marriott service but the guest rooms need an update. Lobby coffee and bar/restaurant were modern and inviting. Thank you Jeff at the front desk and Georgia in the restaurant for fabulous service.

Had a very fun time raising the sails. Wish it was longer out side the harbor.

A must place to visit when you are in Halifax. People are friendly and you get to taste the local food. I loved the variety of meats that were available. For all the wine lovers you must try blow me down wine from blomidon winery.

Have done trade shows here. They are very accommodating and work hard to ensure each vendor has what they need. If something is missing, they respond quickly to make sure you are well taken care of.

What an asset this is for the whole of Canada. You have put so much imagination into the exhibits that we feel a part of history as we interact with everything. We were in Canada to meet family but hadn't thought about looking up the family members who emigrated. We were helped so much that we could track a great uncle back to his ships manifest and identify a relative who travelled with him.

Go there once a month enjoy talking golf with bartender butch o'hearn.
