Wedding Hall

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Tara and Steve for our engagement photos and wedding day photos in 2012 and 2013, and are so grateful for the beautiful images they captured of that special time. They are super easy to work with, make you feel relaxed in front of the camera, are creatively brilliant, and lots of fun too! They captured so many awesome candid moments from our wedding, which we are so happy to now have as memories. We got married in January, and when we suggested doing a few photos outside I thought they would hesitate because it was so cold. But instead, their eyes lit up and I knew they were thinking of unique ideas for photos to capture outside. They took us on the streetcar, got some shots of us walking down the street, in a local bakery, and on the grounds of our venue in the snow. They were totally game to have fun with us, get beautiful snowy photos, even with the cooler temperature. Many of our friends who attended our wedding were so impressed with seeing how Steve and Tara fit so seamlessly into our wedding day, that they went on to hire them to shoot their weddings too. Fast forward five years, and Steve was able to come photograph us with our new baby. She was pretty unhappy the whole time, as new babies can be, but Steve was super relaxed which made us relaxed, and we got these beautiful images of us together as a new family of three in our home. Steve perfectly captured the candid moments of our new life as parents and we are so so so grateful. My husband and I would, and have, wholeheartedly recommend Tara Lilly Photography. Great for parties and gatherings

Had a great party last week, good food specially Appetizers. good deck experience as well.

This hall still needs renovation and it is much better than the first time I went here 5 years ago. The entrance to the hall needs work, windows should have been sparkling, needs to remove the dead planters and beer can, the bathroom set up is a little strange. They try to have nice dividers but you can see they are trying to cover their storage. We arrived and the floors of the entrance was sticky. They could do a better job in their bar area to make it look nicer. Also appetizers weren’t served fast enough. You guys may want to rethink your server staff uniforms. The golf caddy style isn’t fitting for weddings or any event unless you are hosting a golf expo.

Sea to Sky Celebrations is one of the Premier wedding planners in the Whistler area. They are very professional and imaginative. All of their weddings are unique and amaze their clients. I enjoy working with their team as it is always well executed and organized, nothing is left to chance. If you want a perfect wedding then I highly recommend you contact Rachael and her team. You only get one shot at getting your wedding right. As a DJ I appreciate their dedication and attention to detail.

My favorite spot. Amazing hotel with everything you could ask for. It's not on the mountain but that's what gives it it's charm. Super quiet and relaxing. They do offer a shuttle and free bike use.

We had my husband's 40th birthday at Punjab Banquet Hall 2 weeks ago. The food was good but the servers were very rude, always taking away plates of food that were full as people were still eating. The salad did not even come out in time for dinner there was only lettuce and tomatoes for an hour. The decor was nicely done except I was taking out dirty chair covers and asking for clean ones literally 1.5 hours before the party was going to start. They kept telling me we are going to change it but were putting sashes on the back of the dirty chair covers. I honestly took off about 50 or more chair covers. The worst part of this entire stressful day was the DJ. We consulted with the DJ 2 weeks prior to the event and was promised good music and gave a list prior to the event. The DJ appeared to be new and he did not know what to play at all. So many people were going up to him asking for specific songs and he would not play what was asked. He tried to mix and it sounded so horrible. At one point he did play my list i gave but then went back to doing his own thing. I texted the DJ who i consulted with at 11pm saying your DJ is so bad. He asked if i wanted him to send someone else i said yes but nobody else came. Worst DJ and music ever. People started to leave by 11pm because the music was so bad. I did complain to the hall and nothing was really done except the head DJ getting all defensive saying people kept disburbing the dj. Everyone was trying to get the dj to play decent music but he never listened. I would not recommend this hall to anyone at all. If you want a good experience go somewhere else.
