My husband and I came across Rural Roots when simply Googling caterers in the Orangeville/Caledon area shortly after we got engaged last July. We connected with Chris and at the time had no idea that we were in the best hands possible! We honestly could not have chosen a better caterer! We got married in a barn with no kitchen, no running water and limited electricity. Chris and his team not only served 150+ people a plated meal but also provided bartenders, servers for cocktail hour and all the necessary staff to clear the tables and clean up at the end of the night! We received endless compliments on the food and people still continue to ask for the soup recipe! The day of went off with not a single issue and we are so thankful! I also should mention the communication leading up to the wedding, it was so helpful and always reassuring. Any time I had a question or was panicking about little details Chris would have a solution. He made it seem easy and that is exactly how the night went! The biggest things for me when planning our wedding were price, quality and effective communication, I would rate Rural Roots Catering a solid 5 star in each category! For anyone looking, look no further, Rural Roots is amazing…and order the soup!!

We contacted Dan looking for family photos (Myself, husband and two pups). He got back to us quickly and we discussed which option was best for us. We went to Rockwood Conservation. Dan was super open to our suggestions and also had plenty of his own! We did lots of poses, candids and fun shots and never felt rushed! Dan got us our low-resolution photos the next day and our High-Res option within two weeks! I'd definitely recommend Dan as a great, Guelph-local photographer for anyone seeking family (and fun) photos! Courtney

Only been the one time. Good use a little TLC but still a good place.

After parking, a short walk on a winding groomed path through a private woods leads to a beautiful natural cathedral under the trees. Plenty of space to erect a tent for the reception, and the surrounding fields and garden on gently rolling hills, make this farm nestled just below the Niagara Escarpment the perfect venue for a wedding! Natural elegance.

I am fortunate enough to assist at this little chapel as an officiant from time to time, and have only great things to say about the staff here. Ceremonies are reasonably priced, the chapel is adorable and I hear wonderful comments from couples about how accommodating their experience has been. This is a great venue for those who want a meaningful Niagara Falls wedding.

From the moment I spoke to Vinny on the phone I knew the service to be provided was going to be amazing. We are from out of town so only met on one occasion two years before the wedding took place. Most communications were done through email which were replied to extremely fast. All lists needed were sent by email to keep paperwork organized. We were able to make the package work for our wedding and needs. The DJ was there and set up early. He was so personable and truly made it feel like he was part of our intimate reception. My father was sick the day of the wedding and we were able to give a head nod through our father daughter dance when we wanted to end the song early. Very professional service and I would highly recommend to others.

A dance floor wrap was a "nice to have" item for our wedding and we decided to go through with it very last minute. We reached out to Catia at Dance Floor Graphics who made our vision come to life in a matter of days! She sent us multiple proofs of the design and was very quick with a few minor edits we had, given that time was not in our favour. They were in and out of the venue in terms of set up and removal.. I don't think anyone even saw them - like magical dance floor elves with absolutely no disruption the day of! Pricing was a little high (it's my understanding that dance floor wraps are quite expensive in general) but still pretty reasonable when compared to their competitors. Definitely added that extra glam factor to the night!
