As a business owner, for years my perception of the BBB was it was a legalized protection racket. Boy was I wrong. As a local Winnipeg business, I had the misfortune of taking on a bad client this past summer. After delivering the services that he paid for as promised, he demanded that additional out of scope work be done at no charge. He then started a campaign of harassment and defamation online. When he filed a complaint against our company, I spoke with a BBB representative and the matter was closed as resolved. Not to be deterred, he then posted a defamatory reveiw against myself, my wife and our company. Again I spoke with this same employee. In this case this defamatory review was not published. I am absolutely pleased with the level of professionalism shown by the staff at the BBB. I would love to recognize this employee publicly, however I am concerned this whack job customer and his posse of liars will soon be leaving a bad review of the BBB here on Google (as they have a history of posting multiple fraudalent reviews) and I would prefer is she did not get singled out for their abuse. Again thankyou BBB for taking care of businesses as well as honest consumers.

I was in Knowles back in 1980...I spent 3 or 4 years there...loved the place ..When I first got there it was a home just for boys...about 6 months later the girls came...I have very strong memories about that place...good and bad...I'm sure it has changed dramatically. ...When I was there it was a very tough place to be...

Have been here twice now, and have done the guided tour each time (would for sure recommend that). The building has so many subtle additions to the design that hint at culture and history I would not have caught or understood otherwise. Something I would say locals and tourists both enjoy. Very happy to see that there is a place which recognises the atrocities of the past, and shows us what we can hope for in the future.

Meeting a need for people who need a short term place to stay in Winnipeg for medical reasons.

"nelly" stated it nicely. god awful communication., then when you get mad, you get promised action, and again no action and no communication. So then u get more upset because you are screwed by the people you put your faith in, so then they tell you we should part ways; dirt-bags. File a legimitae complaint with the law society and find out how cronylistic this whole 'profession' (i use the term UN-inderingly) is. Take you business elsewhere.

The staff are rude and they are cheap and unprofessional they are one of the worst school divisions I’ve ever been to in the world

3 well maintained outdoor Ice Rinks make it a great place for a pick up game of hockey

Lots of deer and wildlife. Nice walking or biking trail for all ages.
