Rated 1 because 0 was not an option! They were seemingly nice people. I should have known when the tow truck driver did not know of the shop how bad it was going to be. I hit a curb bending and braking parts in rear suspension. Multiple times I was told it was completed and I could come pick it up. Each time it was not ready, they were either unresponsive or the shop was closed during business hours. They continually gave me excuses and telling me what I wanted to hear but not the truth. Besides leaving me stranded the worse part is that the work was deplorable. The brakes failed within one block from leaving the shop! I took it to another shop for an inspection and was told that my car was unsafe to drive and they could not allow me to drive it off the lot for my safety! Parts were missing, brakes were installed incorrectly, and it was the most out of alignment that they've seen. Keep in mind when I drove away from the Auto Stop I was told it was all "fixed" aligned and balanced. This has all been documented and confirmed by two reputable shops and certified mechanics.

Honesty. The number one selling point of a good mechanic. Steve and crew are certified do-you-right mechanics that stand by their work with market fair prices as well. Major car repair is not a service anyone wants, but these guys make it far less painful.

high way robbery, they told me to change 2 tire and exel for $1899, and i agree, the next day they charge me $3421. when i said why? Cris said you paid or we keep the truck.. never use agian......i end-up paying $3421...

diesel power

Had a six pack of injectors put in made it 3 miles and broke a rocker arm. Had to be towed back they said it wasn't there fault I paid for the wrecker. I can't remember the service writer's name he was a little fellow with a bad attitude do not use central power in Springfield

I needed my transmission replaced. I am strapped for cash so I told them I wanted a used one. When they got the replacement it did not work. I am not sure what extra work they did but It wouldn't go into 4th gear and was shifting hard from 2nd to 3rd. They fixed the transmission and it runs like brand new. They also replaced my starter (I had the replacement starter) and fixed a flat tire and didn't charge me anything extra for the extra work fixing the transmission or the starter and tire. It is abundantly clear these guys take extraordinary pride in there work. I have had bad experiences with every mechanic I have used aside from 1 or 2 in the past. I will be using these guys for all my mechanic needs from here on out. I could never describe how happy I am to find someone who cares so much about what they do and are not looking to rip me off. I am extremely happy with there service! I highly recommend you give these guys a chance to impress you too!
