BEWARE!! Rip off artists!! Don't walk run away from these crooks!! You've been warned.

Called this company to see if they would consign sale a set of forks for me. The guy who answered the phone , Cash or something, was rude, unhelpful and hung up on me. All for asking his experience on what the value of these forks might be.

My wife was just beginning her trip across country when her SUV lost power. I was traveling as well but called Houska's as I have done business with them before. AAA towed the vehicle to Houska's and although they had told me it would be a few hours before they could look at it, they started right away. It took about 4 hours start to finish and they sent a courtesy vehicle to our house to pick her up (including our pets). Great service, great people and very reasonable cost. Thanks for a great experience and getting her back on the road quickly.

finally returned my phone call after 4 days and just said come pick up your truck after trying to get them to do the right thing and fix there work. Now i'm forced to take my truck to another shop and have them fix it . I will now have to sue Ledom's just to get my truck running again . This is the worst possible outcome from letting a negligent shop work on my truck . They have a C- rating with the BBB Update I Got another Local diesel shop to Install a new engine in my truck for the $21,000. Ledom's Misdiagnosed My truck and it cost me big time. Ledom's installed an injector in my truck under warranty when it really needed a new engine. Ledom's did not own a manual compression gauge for the 6.7 Powerstroke engine(very common diesel engine). So they where unable to accurately diagnose my truck. Instead of ordering the compression tool and diagnosing it correctly they simply took the easy way out and said it needed an injector. After they installed the Injector the truck ran for a very short period of time and then the motor went out 800mi outside of it warranty. Ledom's then knew that they where liable for my engine failing due to there misdiagnoses. At that point Greg Budwine steeped in to the situation. Greg Tried to cut a deal with me saying that they would take care of me and that I was a valuable customer. I assume this is because we have had 4 trucks into them. I waited for weeks and weeks to hear back from Greg about what he was going to do about my truck. Finally Greg called me back and said If I was willing to pay $8000 that he could install a $20,000 motor in my truck.I told Greg that he knew that his company was responsible for the whole bill due to the fact that the motor would have been covered under warranty if his shop would have diagnosed the problem correctly in the first place. Greg did not care. So After looking at our finances and Christmas coming up my wife and I reluctantly decided that we would probably take the offer. What could we do ? We had no vehicle and my wife needed to get our Little girls to school. So we asked Ledom's to send us over the estimate for the new engine that they wanted to install in our truck.My wife and I looked ledom's estimate over. We then called another shop and got a quote for the same engine that ledoms wanted to install and 2 other engines of better quality. My wife and I then compared all of the estimates. The other shop said it would cost $10,000 to install the same engine that Ledom's said would cost $20,000. LEDOM'S LIED TO US ! LEDOM'S TRIED TO PURPOSELY OVER CHARGED US FOR A CHEAP ENGINE SO THEY WOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING EXCEPT THE LABOR($2000 WORTH THAT GETS CHARGED TO THE MECHANIC THAT MISDIAGNOSED THE ENGINE IN THE FIRST PLACE). THEN THEY WOULD CHARGE US THE $8000 SO THAT THEY WOULDN'T LOSS ANYTHING ON THE DEAL. I called and left Greg several messages about his companys lies and he just said come pick up your truck. LEDOMS WILL NOT STAND BY THERE WORK OR THEIR CUSTOMERS. LEDOMS IS TRYING TO STEP ON THE SMALL PEOPLE JUST TO GET TO THE TOP. LEDOM'S REAL MOTTO IS SCREW CUSTOMERS WHEN YOU CAN AND SEE IF YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH IT ! GUESS WHAT? NOT THIS TIME BUD......

while visiting my brother in law I needed to have the oil in my powerstroke diesel changed. He recommended Scotty's. I went there the service was great and fast and the person at the front desk helped me find a coupon to use! So ten thousand miles and the western US behind we returned to GJ to visit and store our equipment for the winter and I returned to Scotty's! The same great service!
