Ahava is the best holistic hair practitioner! I started to go to her in July of 2015 because my hair was in dire need of help - my edges broke off from having too tight braids and weave then on top of that, the dermatologist told me that I had alopecia effluvium. From those two problems, I was seeing absolutely no growth. I was distraught over my hair and thought that there was no coming back from this but once I started going to her, my hair has been at its healthiest! With her hair sugar scrub, structured water & ormus - all of my edges have grown back in 2017! Ahava is very realistic with hair growth and will let you know that you are not going to see the hair growth you want, if you do not put the work outside of coming to her. Ahava has healing hands not on hair but on trying to help her clients become the best person they can be. I definitely recommend everyone (kids, women and men) to check her out, if you want an amazing experience!

Hands down best salon experience i've ever had. Everyone was very friendly and the salon itself was gorgeous. Before I got my hair done, I met with Krysten for a consult on what we could do with my hair. I previously got it done elsewhere and was very unhappy with the color and Krysten talked me through colors and I left feeling completely confident she could correct it. She did exactly what I wanted and more! She gave my hair a complete make over while taking into consideration the previous damage done to my hair and made sure to eliminate/minimize any additional damage. My hair looks and feels AMAZING. Proofs in the photos!

A blowout for curly hair was literally them proofing out my hair. Don’t go if your hair has any curl because they WILL ruin it!!!

I Have to say....I never write a review about anything...but I love Hair Core!! I have a seven year old daughter and we both felt like trying a new hair shop. We walked in, and everyone was so friendly. They listened to what I wanted and cut my hair the way I told them to....not what they thought it should be...I loved it. My daughter April loved hers as well. I found my new shop!! :)
