I go with my female when she gets her toes done.......the vibration chairs are relaxing, and they serve alcohol.....a plus;)

April has been amazing treating my daughter with a series of facials for acne. She has gone beyond with giving her samples of homemade cleansers, an application brush, and steps in how to improve at home/in between visits. My daughter really like her... highly recommended! :)

Allison did a good job with my hair. Offered me advise on how to care for my dryness scalp and recommended a natural product at a great price. Looking forward to keep visiting it monthly.

Going to the hairdressers is generally a chore - something that you go in, have done, and then go to the next thing. My experience at Fantastic Sams was so much more than that. I didn't go in expecting to leave feeling so much better about myself. I walked in and it was empty except for one employee (because it's SC and it's a snow day), and she asked me what I was hoping to get. Honestly, I never know. I dye my hair black (well...my boyfriend does with a box color) and I've never really known how to style or cut based on my face shape and needs. Rhonda took everything I said and treated my hair like art - she's worked for years in the industry, so she's a true professional, but it was more than just this that made the experience so great. We talked about all sorts of topics - from body positivity, youth and motivation, the current accusations circling the news, life and love, movies, and so much more. She can talk to anyone about anything with genuine interest and passion. Another customer came in while I waited for my hair dye to set, and she spoke with him just as confidently and he left with a great hair cut and experience, too. It's not often you get past the weather and "how long have you been a hairdresser" conversations, but I'm so glad we did because it was genuinely an enriching experience. If not talking is your thing, I know she'd sense that and be quiet, too. At the end, she made sure that every hair was perfectly trimmed, colored, and styled, and then went out of her way to show me how to style it the same way. No one has ever done that before, and it felt so good to know that I could replicate what she had done to my hair. The place itself is really nice and modern. It's clean, comfortable, and set up really well. They have brand new materials and tools since it's a new location. I fully recommend going here because it was just such a great experience. I feel like a new person, and that was what was so endearing and great about Rhonda - she said she'd had other goals in life before this, but she wouldn't change what she does because she brings confidence and joy to people through the art of haircutting. It wasn't some chore that needed to be checked off - it was a whole experience that is designed to get you the look you want, at a great price, so you can go into your life with confidence and excitement.

My daughter and I have both been to this Salon and thoroughly enjoyed our separate experiences. My daughter is 5 and felt like a big girl at this salon and told me that her favorite part was getting her hair washed :) The receptionists are always so welcoming and helpful! I appreciate the concern this Salon has for the customers satisfaction of their service. They didn’t have a product in stock the day we were in and as soon as they received a new shipment I got a kind voicemail letting me know that it was in. We will both be back!
