Beauty Salon

We had a terrible experience here. MyKayla seemed like it was one of the worst days of her life and she was extremely rude to my 7 year old son. She snapped at him multiple times and very aggressively shifted his head when he didn't tilt his head first time he asked. I'm not impressed and will not be going back here.

Won’t ever come again! Very disappointed with the customer service :( I found this place when looking for where to go for my daughter’s first hair cut. We arrived a little before our appointment at 10:30 and checked in. We watched multiple families come in after us and get taken to a chair before us. At 10:32, the receptionist came up to us and told us we were early for our appointment and that our hair dresser would be done soon. We took offense to that as we were not early at 10:32; that was past our scheduled time. When I looked over at our hair dresser, she did not look near close to done even though she had been cutting the child’s hair even before we walked in. So at 10:45, after watching even more families get checked in and attended to before us, we decided to get up and leave. On the drive home, I receive a call from the receptionist and I told her we decided not to get the hair cut done since it was well after our appointment time and we didn’t have time to wait around all day. Her response was her apologizing and saying they were running late, and offered us a free haircut when we return. Had this been her response in the store, before claiming we were early, when we weren’t, I might have considered waiting. But the apology and free hair cut offer was too little too late and we won’t be going back here.

Kathryn is so talented and really listens to her clients. I can always depend on her for a great cut and color, even when I try new things. She really understands hair, and she will engage in a conversation of what will and won't work for my hair. She's never led me astray! She even taught me tricks for styling it quickly. Even when I lived in SF, I had Kathryn cut my hair when I was in PDX visiting -- I won't trust anyone else! Finally I have the courage to try new looks, knowing I can trust Kathy to guide me through it and tailor it to me. Thanks, Kathy! Plus she is a super sweet person :)

She got some skills and kindness.

So, being a guy who has never been in a makeup store before, I was a little nervous and unsure what to expect going to ulta. Luckily, a very helpful associate, I think her name was koi, made the experience much less painful than I was expecting. She was very knowledgeable about the various colognes and helped me pick out a great scent for a good price.

Twice now my hair was cut by the same person, thats twice in a row and I have been butchered! First time I went back to have it fixed by someone else! This person should not be cutting hair, I will have to go back and have it fixed once again! I didn't notice it was the same person at first she changed her hair color and had it fixed different. Kind of upsetting to have to go twice to get a haircut!!!!!! Cutters name is Jodi

Quick online check-in, friendly staff.

I have had many haircuts done at Monalisa and really am amazed at the caring and awesome job of the quality cuts that i get. I truly believe that monalisa is a rare gem to all that need a great cut, dye, perm, or any hair need!

Nancy is so good with my kids, especially my son. Haircuts can be challenging for him and she is so patient with him and happy that we found her.

My daughter and I have been getting our hair done here for about 3 years now. We love Ms Tiffany and all the staff at Lovely Appearances Salon. Never have to wait long she is always on time, we are in and out in 2 hours or less (for one of us). Conversation is always family friendly and Fun!!

Outstanding! Love Dominique and all the staff.

Well my hair was already styled and cut the way I like it. I really just needed a cleanup and that’s what I went for. They changed the style a bit, and it’s not even that clean. Staff was friendly so that’s nice. I had her shave my beard off and there’s all sorts of chunks that got missed. She didn’t charge me for it though and I plan on shaving so it’s whatever.

I went to Supercuts on Saturday to get a haircut after not cutting my hair for six months. I asked the man to cut my hair however he wanted to see the result. I was extraordinarily shocked that he cut my hair perfectly and I'm glad I asked him to choose something he thought would fit me since he is the artist.

Awesome !

Although pricey great service and incredible staff. Gina gives the best perms, looks very natural and takes!! Her haircuts are incredible!! This is the place to go!!!
