They did my Wednesday around 4:30 and I left at 8:30 ish for my first time getting my hair done by the African they did a wonderful job to be honest I love my twist best 200 dollar I have ever spend on my hair even with a sew in would recommend people to go here 😍

I was referred by a close friend whose like a sister to me who goes to Rhapsody and whose been getting her hair done by Shelmeika for years, I've been going for months now and I love the atmosphere, and I love Shelmeika and how healthy my hair has already become. Worst Salon experience of my life. I’ve been in and out of salons since I was twelve. And have never experienced this in my life. I booked an appointment with Kathy Rivers, unfortunately. I asked for a base color and highlights. Black base with chocolate highlights. And left with yellow and pink blotches all over my head. When I told her this was not what I asked her she became very aggressive. And said it was “my hairs fault” and I needed to pay for her service.......... She refused to fix it without charging me. So I refused to pay her. And she got in my face and said I’m not leaving without paying. She was unapologetic, unprofessional, and frankly does not know what she’s doing. I have never had a hair stylist bleach my hair for highlights without using toner or a color afterwards, and she wanted to charge me to do so. Please do not put your hair in her hands.

My experience here was amazing. I had Crystal and she did an ombre/balayage on my hair. It took 5 hours but it was worth it and she did everything possible to make my hair look like the picture I requested. I will definitely be coming back :)
