I started going to John Lane in early 2017, and I must say the staff is always so friendly and professional. Great customer service! Minimal wait times if any. Theresa cares about making sure my hair is and stays healthy. She is very knowledgeable about each product that she uses and always explains the benefit of what it does for my hair. I know I'm in good hands. The new location is simply immaculate. From the area, to the shampoo bowls and even the styling chairs. Everything about the studio is amazing! I will definitely be a forever client.

I came in there about a week ago. My little girl did not want her hair cut. The manager Pam came over and played with her and made a game out of it even got down on her level on the floor and cut her hair. I was so impressed and in aww that a stylist would do that. I'll definitely be back. To see her again!!!

I can't believe I haven't gone here sooner! Visited Shannen last night and she is amazing. I was wishy washy about both my length and how I wanted the color, and I told her just to do what looks good with my face shape (which is always a risk). She worked wonders and for the first time since moving to Nashville 3 years ago, I truly loved a haircut. This place has my business from now on!

Jessica is wonderful! I drive 30 minutes to get her to cut my hair as I can always count it being done right. I like the atmosphere. Just need to have a location in Sumner County (assuming Jessica will relocate).

high quality for a low price. $45 for a haircut that makes you feel like you just walked out of a pantene pro v commercial? can't ask for anything better especially in nashville. i tried going to aveda true blue salon for a while and although they were $10 cheaper, i never left completely satisfied.

This store is beautiful, well put together and clean. All of the associates are very sweet and helpful. However, my compliment today is for a girl name Sarah. My friend and I began by asking her a few simple questions. Because she was so helpful, we ended up asking her multiple questions and she walked us around the store for an hour and a half. We ended up buying most of the things she recommended and we love all of the products. She was very sweet, patient, knowledgeable and VERY helpful. You can tell she absolutely loves her job, as she is very good at it and wore a smile the entire time. She made it feel like we were talking to a friend, rather than an employee. I would definitely recommend this store and I will definitely be back.

By FAR THE BEST anyone has ever done with my hair. Devin is ammmaaaazzziinnng! He took me from fried and brassy to healthy and sassy! He took his time to find out what I wanted. I sincerely think my color is amazing.

The service was ok. A bit rushed, but I like the team work style the use to keep things flowing. The girls who handle the between steps are super sweet. Honestly, I really enjoy getting my hair and treatments done here except one strange thing. There seems to be a huge rule that you cannot even mention using salon grade products outside of Aveda, judging by how awkwardly the stylist skirt the conversation when trying to explain what products are used on their customers' hair. You'd think they'd realize the importance of knowing that information while working with customers who really care about the health and ethics of their hair products. It can be so frustrating not to be able to truly communicate with your stylist and then having the awkward void they created be filled with a plug for their own products. Why would I only use one brand of product on my hair? I don't need to be shamed for diversity in the products I use. If anything, their strange interacting style when it comes to the topic ensures I will absolutely not buy any product from them ever. Needless to say, I'm presently looking for a salon that lets me have open and honest conversation in an otherwise comfortable environment. **Also, Aveda is owned by Estee Lauder, which is absolutely not a cruelty free brand given that they sell their products in China were it is illegal to sell such products without first testing on animals in quite horrific manners. If you're looking for cruelty free products this is not the place for you. Don't let the bunny fool you. It is misleading advertising, to put it lightly.
