My roommate referred me to Suzanne, who had been styling her hair since she was in school. I'm a hair snob. I am really particular on who gets to get NEAR my doo, and from the get go Suzanne was spot on! As I type this I can feel my roots coming in - girl I need to get in soon! Stop by Uptown, and let Suzanne comb your coiff, whip your wig, or tame that mane. She's the bees knees!

The reviewer below me made up the whole story, I was there when she came in and she just started insulting people as soon as she came in. She had an horrible attitude as soon as she came in and was up in arms about not being able to get an discount. I can't believe people like her make reviews after not getting their way. Disgusting

I called this salon on my way into work today to see what appointment times were open. I called again after arriving to work around 12:10ish to confirm an appointment. I asked for 2:30 and the lady said she had a 2 & 2:30 open. I said I would take the 2 o'clock. I got permission from work to take off at that time and then come back after my hair appointment. I am very busy and really had to sneak time in for this. I show up for my appointment at 2:01pm and the lady is finishing up with her last client. She greets me and apologies says she will be just 5 more min. I smile and say okay and sit down. It is taking longer than 5 min so I step next door after letting the lady know. I come back and she is still not finished. She doest acknowledge me or apologies but just keeps chatting away with the current client. Come 2:30 she wraps up and checks the client out. i walk up and she just looks at me. I ask (just to double check) if she had me at 2:30 or 2pm? she confirmed she had me a 2pm, still no sorry, smile or nothing. I ask her so is this okay? I confirmed my time and was told either time would work. She said she thought someone called me. Which made no sense since she was the one who greeted me and said it was only going to be a 5min delay. I am aggravated and upset now. I wasted my time, lost money for work for trying to do this and now don't even have time to get my hair done! I was polite the whole time. I asked the lady I had been speaking with the whole time if she was the manger. She responded yes and that was all. I was shocked to find out she was the manger, if that was true, what poor behavior and response from a member of management. This is completely unacceptable behavior and would not recommend this place to anyone and feel I am due an apology from the careless "manger"

Tiffany cut my hair and she is great. I will be back. I will call and make sure Tiffany is there.

I've been going here since I was 9 years old and still do today, 15 years later. Billy is amazing with hair and I've never left unhappy with my cut. No matter how old or young you are, I'd recommend giving this place a try.

This was my first time getting my hair cut here. Very clean, I was a walk-in and was helped after about 5 minutes and out in about 20. There was a bit of a language barrier, so it was hard for me to explain exactly what it was that I wanted. I feel as though the hairdresser didn't understand my hair type, because the technique she used to cut the layers doesn't seem to suit it, the layers also seem a bit disconnected. That should be expected, though, because of the $17 price. Also, when she finished she asked if I wanted my hair "straightened or curled," but failed to say that it would be $10 more. I'm glad I asked if it would be extra so I didn't have to spend money on something I'd do myself at home. Overall it was an "okay" experience.

I've been to several hair places and Kelly and Mandi are the only ones i'll go to now! Unlike other salons they give you the look you want instead of cutting your hair how they want it to look.

Horrible service!! The person who cut my hair was Jeff. I tried to tell him how I wanted my haircut, but he was yelling at me and told me how he preferred to cut my hair. Never coming here again.

Very low standard. Once in a while if you are lucky you may get a decent haircut, it depends who you get.
