This place is AWFUL! I found this place after doing research for a good braiding shop. I read the reviews and looked at the finished work of the salon here. So I thought this place would be a good place to go to because it's hard to find decent braiding shops in Dallas. I called to get a quote and see if I can make an apoointment. The owner asked me what I want, told me to send her a picture (I did just that), and she informed me that she can do the style I wanted. I get to the shop, and I explained what I wanted with the two colors I brought with me. I, again, showed her a picture. I gave two options on how I would like the colors to be braided. TWO options. I had to stop the women braiding my hair halfway through the back of my hair because what I was seeing, was not either of the two options I gave. Again, I gave the instructions of what I wanted. When they were finished braiding. They style was incorrect. The color scheme was incorrect and the overall look of the braids were HORRIBLE! TERRIBLE! I had them curl the ends to see if that would make the braids look okayish. Nope. I wasted my time and money. Side note, they do not take cash. They also dont inform their customers they don't take cash until they are close to finishing your hair. They will stop doing your hair about 70% through and make you walk to the end of the block to an ATM to get cash, with your hair looking a mess. This place is deceased. I will not be returning.

Been going up there sense I was 7 .. And now I'm 23.. A few guys still working there from those days.. Friendly staff, funny guys, relaxed chill vibe.. The basic barbershop convo.. Sports, news, gambling, & women.. Fun times.. And always got the hood spots going with the food Only thing is.. The area is not safe at night so If you not familiar with the side of town.. Don't go late or past sun down!. You might regret it

They amazing make sure you tip them real good

No hospitality. Rude workers. Doesn't return change. At the end, they do not blow dry or even straighten hair when finish cutting & does not cut hair to customer's satisfaction.

Been going here for years.

I did not actually receive service I was there with a family member.A member of my who told the stylist what style she wanted did not only get the syle she requested, and her hair was geled down . She did not get the service that she requested.

I came here twice. She was distracted and she didnt do what i wanted..she went ahead and did it her own way. NOT RECOMMEDED!!

I love this place! Very friendly staff and joanna and khan did a amazing job on my hair and and my nails look great done by trisa. I like that it's affordable and they do a awesome job!
