A very trendy and stylish salon! Carlota has just rescued me by turning a disastrous cut from a different salon, into a work of art. Friendly and skilled staff in a very comfortable salon that feels more like a trendy nightclub. I love it!

Worst nail job I've ever gotten done. The male owner claims to know how my nails should look and say I don't know how to do them and what they should look like. He cut them without askibg. He was rude to me. Told me off. And didn't listen to what I wanted as a customer. If you come here ask for the lady owner NOT the man

Very relaxing. Great facials. Loved my shellac nails.

If I could put zero stars I would. Went in for a pedicure and left with a bad case of cellulitis ... I was on IV drip and immobile for over 4 weeks. Over a year later and my foot/leg still have not returned to it's normal size; the swelling may never go down. I have endured excruciating pain, and ongoing discomfort as a result. I've had countless medical consults and nothing has been able to cure what this salon gave to me. Avoid this place at all costs!!!!

Great place to get your hair cut ! I don't go anywhere else ! Reasonably priced and they are very welcoming and understanding even if you are a "co/no-pooer" I highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a quality cut and style :)

SUBJECT; CHROME NAILS - I am so pleased with my end result, that I have the need to share this with who ever is searching for a professional nail salon in Oshawa. The gift of aging is truly a gift, so I don't take life for granted. So now that its ME time, which most of you gifted woman will understand, I expect that when I go out and treat myself that I deserve the BEST there is. Well Sylvia's is THE BEST THERE IS by far. I have visited a number of Nail Salons in the Durham Region over the years. The staff at Sylvia's are all fun, courteous and willing to provide you with exceptional service. Hence the reason for me sharing this with you today. I am going to try and attach a picture so you can see the amazing end product!. Cheers Everyone!.....P.S. Best experience I've had in a salon to date! I had Jody (one of the newer stylists) give me a brown-blonde ombré balayage as well as a wash and traditional blow-out. I have pretty short hair (for the first time) and I couldn't believe how resonable the price was; I've had similar work done at salons in the area who would charge almost $200 for the same result. All around great atmosphere, I'll be coming here from now on.

So impressed! I recently have made this salon my "go-to" for both hair and spa services. I am very picky about hair stylists and am so glad I came across Brooke at Hot Heads. She is always sure to listen to exactly what I want and asks questions before and during the appointment to make sure I am happy with what she is doing. The salon recently (I think) switched to being an Aveda salon which made me like the salon even more since I love Aveda products. Brooke consistently does an amazing job with both colour and cut and has shown great attention to detail, all for a very fair price for service. I would recommend Brooke, and the salon, to anyone!
