First time in...and it won't be my last! Michelle gave me the kind of super modern sleek cut you can't get in Ottawa. Her precision and creativity is unrivaled! The salon itself has a warm and welcoming vibe, while Donna and staff take the time and courtesy to treat clients with stellar service.

I got highlights by Aline and a cut by Rob. Aline is absolutely amazing, she's so welcoming and provided me with the best service, I loved how my hair turned out! This is my go to place and people for sure!

Amazing salon! I'm pretty demanding and I've always been thrilled with the quality of work. I've also referred almost everyone I know there as well.

It's always a pleasure going to see Lino. He's very attentive takes music requests and serves up the best espresso & biscotti while you wait. Sometimes I forget I'm there for a haircut. He cuts with precision and his hair colouring techniques are always on the cutting edge (no pun intended)....and if your hair's in a towel and you're parked and going over in time, he will run out and put coins in the meter for you...now that's full service! Lino's is a quiet place and I always find it easy to relax especially during one of his famous scalp massages while reclined in the shampoo chair. He does everything for you from the moment he greets you at the door to when you leave. He has a beautiful salon with a soothing and contemporary design. Even though it's in the market, I always find parking in front of his salon. I've been a regular customer for 30 years and only have good things to say about my time with Lino. Yes there have been times over those many years where we got our signals crossed and ended up with something slightly different than what I intended but the thing about Lino is that he is patient and will may corrections without making you feel bad or trying to upcharge you. ...he is definitely a cut above the rest !

Paige did the makeup for me and my bridal party and she was absolutely fantastic. She was timely, accommodating and, most important of all, she made me look/feel gorgeous on my wedding day. I would highly recommend her.

P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N !! Etant métisse, mes cheveux sont denses et très difficiles à coiffer. Je n'avais jusqu'alors jamais trouvé de salon type "afro" qui sache s'en occuper correctement sans finir par me tresser ou me couper les cheveux en escalier. Sur les conseils avisés d'une amie, je me suis rendue au salon un peu anxieuse. Mis la TING ! Les doigts de fée de J. m'ont défrisé les cheveux avec soins intensifs et m'ont fait un brushing digne de ce nom, révélant une longueur que je ne connaissais pas ! Bref, je suis sortie du salon façon Michelle Obama, boucles soyeuses, brillance et force, je n'avais jamais vu mes cheveux comme ça...!! Je ne peux que recommander à toute celles qui ont eu de mauvaises coiffeuses afro et qui cherche une VRAIE coiffeuse, compétente, douce et professionnelle. Merci beaucoup J. !

They have a great selection of beauty products for professionals and general public. Last time I bought high quality tweezers at a reasonable price. Staff knowledgeable, friendly and efficient.

Till you leave Elio, to return and return year after year.I travel for business as well as pleasure. Elio is a Master Artist with hair.. we have to wait, I'd rather wait then not return as he's simply the best. From a professional long time client that's tried "all kinds" i return to him because if you have fine, thinning hair he's got your cut, your color his magic. He deserves these accolades. J.

Pleasantly surprised at my recent visit to Chatters at trainyards. I booked a last minute appointment at the salon and had Darlene as my hair stylist. She did an incredible job on my color and cut. I've gotten so many complements on my hair since having it done. I also had a great experience with the employee working the front desk to choose some hair products. She was knowledgable and everyone was very friendly. Great experience. I would definitely recommend others to this salon and I will go back in the future.

Kelly has been my stylist for years and is the main reason I come here, and throughout the years I noticed a significant change in service for the better. It's pricey, but worth it.

I have been going to see Asha for several years and she always does a great job. Will continue to go to her for color and cuts.

Walked in to ask if they would put a design in the back of my hair (already shaved underneath) & the staff laughed at me and said "Haha Um, no... haha you may want to check the BARBER SHOP upstairs". A simple no would have been okay. Super rude. Un impressed.

It was sooo expensive for a job that is not even that well done. It was almost 200$ for my box braids and the worst part is I already had my extentions, I didnt even buy it from them. The braids are stiff, they have a weird shape and they are not even as long as i wanted. I usually do my braids by a neighbor for 60-80$ and i am always really satisfied. She also takes the exact same amount of time as it takes to Amys to do them. Too bad she was not available cause I would've not waste my money at Amys. A real waste of money. Not happy.

The place to be to get Black hair and cosmetic supplies, a good selection of African fabrics, an urban barber and quality hair care: extensions, braids, weaves at a reasonable price in a professional setting.

Saw this hair place and thought it looked like a good stop for a haircut. Glad I did! Even as a walk-in they offered me a beverage and then I had a great scalp massage with my hair wash. The cut still looks great a week later. Nothing bad to say here... professional staff, reasonable prices, and nice vibe to get a great guy's haircut.
