Hate it. Honestly rude service. We had two people for hair cuts. One hair cut I did not even want to pay for. It was that that BAD! When we wwnt to pay. The lady said no tip. My husband politely smiled and said sorry no. That is all the cash. Her reply was given in a rude manner. Okay, well next time you have to. Since when was a tip mandatory? That too for rude service and bad product. Please do not go!

I went to Joseph's on the recommendation of a friend who always said he got consistently good cuts here. Upon arrival, I saw a large line and was told there would be a 30 minute wait. No problem, good sign if anything. However once I sat down the problems all started. My stylists name was Maria, and although her English was competent she did not know very much about cutting hair, especially for men. She did not know clipper numbers or fade, and did not understand what I meant when I said 1 cm off the top and clipper size 1 on the sides. She proceeded to butcher my hair, cutting off far more than I asked. When I asked her to even out my hair since the top and sides were poorly done, her resolution was to cut it even shorter. I ended up losing about 2 inches of hair when I asked for a 1 cm reduction. The back was shaved in a horribly crooked line and far too high up. Eventually it got the point where another employee had to come and translate what I was trying to convey, but at that point it was far too late. She continually said "I don't understand" when I asked for fixes, and repeated "my name is Maria" about three times, seemed like she was only focused on trying to ensure I remembered her name. She forgot my name as well and asked for it three times. Well I remembered your name Maria, and I suggest that all guys especially avoid your work. The lady before me seemed to get an excellent cut and was very happy with her work so maybe she has only had experience cutting women's hair, but I left $30 shorter and desperate to buy a hat to wear for the next month. Avoid this place, or at least this stylist, for the sake of your hair fellas. Edit: another thing, I've noticed that the ratings seem to have "spiked" in the last month (2.1 stars to 3.9). All these recent 5 star reviews seem to mention the stylist's name and have been in the past month or so. Not sure if there's any foul play at work here (asking for positive reviews or faking reviews) or if there was legitimately a shift towards better quality of service, but be wary of that possibility when reading reviews. I still would never go back here.
