great hair cuts!

Merrie is a fabulous hair dresser.

Awesome! I got a haircut and half of my hair dyed lavander. He was very patient and down to earth. Fairly priced as well. Will be going back to him from now on. I will drive a half hour everytime to go to a great hair stylist! He really knows what he’s doing.

Renee takes the time to do an awesome job with dying and styling hair. Heather is meticulous in doing manicures and pedicures.

Margot and her Father are the sweetest hairdresser's I have ever been too. My entire family now goes to them i feel like I found a real treasure.

Love this place. Kim is an amazing colorist and hair dresser. I have recommended to so many people. I also love that I can get in and out quickly and still be thrilled with my cut. My whole family goes here, even my husband. So lucky to have a place that is convenient too!

If you are looking for a Salon that provides impeccable customer service, look no further! It was my first time hearing of Gordon's Salon in Willamette and decided to give them a try. Scheduling my appointment was a breeze. I called and spoke to a very wonder receptionist that gave me the availability for Sundays, the only day I was available. I scheduled with a stylist by the name of Chantel for one o'clock. Being my first time going to Gordon's I got lost and arrived ten minutes after my scheduled time. I burst though the entrance where I was greeted and assured that my tardiness was not an issue. Chantel showed me to her station and started the experience with a refreshing mint oil scalp rub. After which I asked her opinion on what style of cut I should get. Chantel suggested leaving the length on top but trimming the sides to which I agreed. She shaved the sides then walked me over to the shampoo/conditioner area and offered a hot towel and hand message. After being pampered we returned to her station where she removed the weight off the top, and finished styling my hair. Looking in the mirror at my transformation I was thoroughly pleased. I thanked Chantel for her creation and was on my way a happy customer. I will be returning to have Chantel cut my hair from now on.

Great service! Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The stylists are all very talented. I have had several great blow outs. My daughter has had a keratin treatment with amazing results. Her make-up and blow out for HOCO was elegant and beautifully done. We could not be happier each time we leave the salon.

I had a terrible experience at Highlights of Lake Forest, and I wasn't even a customer! As I was walking my dog past the storefront, I stopped to give her a drink of water in a bowl. When she was finished, I poured the excess water in some bushes on the exterior of the building. A very angry woman came flying out of the store reprimanding me loudly and aggressively for allowing my dog to deface their storefront. I explained that the dog had done nothing, but she continued to be rude, loud, and inappropriate. I called and asked for the manager, and spoke to the same woman who refused to let me talk and hung up on me. Then she called me back to further berate me. Wow. I wouldn't want my hair done by anyone with that kind of attitude. I will be speaking with the owner (when I can get a hold of her. The rude woman refused to give me her name). Not a great way to run a business. There are many other salons in the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff area with kind and respectful employees.
