Beauty Salon

I have lived in Iowa City for about 5 years and I never found a salon I was in love with. I saw Michael Tschantz had really great reviews online so I decided to give it a chance. I absolutely love it. My stylist, Lindsey was really helpful in showing me how to style my hair and what products to use. Not to mention she gave me probably one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten. I can't say enough good things! I'll definitely be going back!

Alexis is greatest! Always walk our of there feeling fresh!!

Great place!

I truly enjoy my visit to the Flip Salon & Spa. I have been with my stylist for many years. She is considerate and helpful in helping me cope with my very stubborn hair. The salon is a pleasant place to enjoy some pampering. I especially like the smiles and greetings from other stylists when I get to my appointment.

I absolutely love this shop..I've been getting box braids and single twist for years this is the only place I went now I moved to Arizona and can't find a place that can compare..I miss this shop soooooooooooo much😒

We had a great experience at Haven!

Excellent beautician always does an amazing hair cut

I usually order my Aveda products through the website, because there is always some promotion going on. However, much to my dismay, the website had been down for weeks and I could not wait any longer to order my products online. I told Brinae (she's the lady with the awesome short, blue hair) what was going on, and that I was bummed that I wouldn't be able to get samples. She was so sympathetic and gave me a few samples to try out! Getting the free stuff is not really what mattered at this point, her sympathy and attitude to go an extra mile for her customer really made my day. I was pleasantly surprised. I will be purchasing my products from this store specifically from now on. Thank you so much, Brinae! I hope I'm spelling your name correctly. I will be seeing you again soon :)

Went and got tape in extensions put it. The people are super nice and the store is great but, my stylists didn't apply my tape ins correctly. I went to shower after the 48 hours I was supposed to wait before I could wash them and the tape all came apart. Now I have no extensions. I'm so angry.

Just a great place for some beauty!

No one has ever been able to correctly do my hair Kristy nailed it!!!! Thank you

Always a good cut with very little wait. I like Lainey.

Sarah and Rachel are wonderful! I get so many compliments on my hair and they always make the salon experience so much fun that I look forward to my appointments.

Best Sports Clips in CR/IC area...great cuts and cutters.

Tldr: I got a great haircut fast. I checked in online and was thrilled when I showed up and Barbara was the next stylist open, she does a great job on my hair every time I see her and is polite/friendly/cheerful as well. Not only do I like my haircut, but I don't worry about coming home and having my wife hate the cut. :-) This is an excellent Great Clips location.

Great place to get a haircut in Iowa City. Angela is fantastic. Love that you can text her for an appointment!
