Alayni did a great job! It's nice to find an affordable place. The environment was friendly and clean. I find it hard to find places in the area that are affordable and I like. I'll definitely become a regular here.

Stylist was great but the open and honest business practice was not being communicated at all. Was told service would be $18 but was rung out $30. My haircut jumped from 18 to 21 for the stylist to simply blow dry what little hair I have after the cut. Also was charged $8 for a beard trim with no indication beforehand or signage stating there was a fee. Absolutely disappointed in communication and had their manager call me after the survey to just repeatedly apologize and say she will communicate to my team and not give me my $12 I was duped out of even when telling her I wanted that money back.

Amazing and Perfect

I love absolutely everything about this place - the support staff is friendly and accommodating, the environment is relaxing, and the stylists are super talented - particularly Mrs. Jen Hampton! I have been going to Jen since I was a sophomore at PSU (over 5 years ago!) and she has given me the best haircuts I've ever had. I followed her to Adam Cole when she moved salons, and I now travel to State College from Washington DC just for my cuts! Jen has seen my head through every different hair style possible - from short edgy pixie cuts, to asymmetrical, sleek bob cuts, Jen can do it all! Bangs, no bangs, angles, no angles, layers, no layers, Jen knows exactly what will fit my face and style, and brings out the absolute best in my features! She even spent an entire day with me fixing a bad box-dye job and bringing my hair back to life. Jen is also the only one in the world that I will allow to touch my eyebrows, and she does a great job of keeping my shape and length. Every time I walk in, she is there to greet me with a hug and a drink, and I'm always sad to leave! I truly cannot speak highly enough about her, and am so lucky to have found such a wonderful, kind, and special person to work with!

I have been trying out various salons in State College for the past 2.5 years I have been here. But honestly, none of them have successfully been able to give me the exact cut I wanted as I always have complicated hair style demands. Currently, I have the 'asymmetrical faded cut' with an asymmetric 'V' at the back. Previously, 3 'highly rated' barbers in State College have messed the haircut up always. However, today I visited Robert at Gio's for the same cut, and he NAILED THE CUT to perfection. He has 29 years of experience in what he does, the dude is definitely the best hairstylist in town.

The place is nice and the service is good. The people are also nice and polite.

In and out, I tried a new look and had no complaints with the result. For ten bucks you can't beat it; I've had much worse cuts in twice the time for twice the money.
