These ladies are amazing! I'm a regular, and I have to say these ladies are the best! Having had my hair cut at various salons, like Fantastic Sam's, they've always given me exactly what I've wanted. They are also very personable and friendly, and give me great quality hair for the value. I usually ask to get my hair thinned out and layers added on since I have really thick and coarse Asian hair and they always do a great job. I would recommend this place to my friends.

I live in Rockford now, and being somewhat new to the area, I was looking for a new salon. I drove by this place on my way to work a handful of times, so thought maybe I'd check them out. Unfortunately, when I got home and tried to look them up online, I was taken to a website that was so non-user friendly I didn't even bother going in. There were no pictures of the salon, and the site looked very old. I then happened to talk to a co-worker of mine about this place, and she told me she had a friend who went there and had an awful experience. I don't imagine they'll be in business too long. It's too bad really.

My family has been going to Phase One for over 20 years. Everyone there is amazing. I have only ever gone to Alex. He is phenomenal. It doesn't get any better than him. He takes his time and he gives every client his all. If you could get a PHD in hair... Alex would have it. That is why once you go to him, you will never go to anyone else. My aunt comes from California to go to him... that's saying a lot. I have never done a google review before but I just got my hair cut from him and I love it so much, I felt compelled to. Do yourself a real favor and book your appointment.
