This salon is fantastic. When you arrive, you are greeted warmly. Everyone there is very courteous and professional. Each hairdresser is incredibly talented. Adrienne is my personal favorite. I am always pleased with my haircut and my highlights. I never feel rushed, and Adrienne is a perfectionist! This is definitely something one wants in a hair stylist.

This is a TRUE salon. Russ puts the art back into hair. He ensures the look will be done in a way to compliment the individuals features His experience and attention to detail is passed down to his crew as well. He both brings in experienced stylists and trains new one as they are apprenticed to him in preparation for "the floor" to cut on their own. If a stylist is cutting hair it's because they have the experience to do so. Salon 14 North is the only salon I know that there is such experience in ALL of the hair dressers. Most places look the part but struggle to deliver. I refuse to go anywhere else.

Love this place. I've been coming here for years. Angela the owner is super nice and Jamie (who does my hair) is up on all the latest hair trends. The rest of the staff is amazing as well. Definitely recommend this place!

Need to make an appointment if you want your nails to be done. Only one manicurist. No massage chairs. However done my kids hair cut here: it was done perfect. My husband does his hair here too and he very pleased. Four stars!

I’m writing this review for my dear friend because I am so mad for her! My friend has mentioned about this place and wanted her hair done with extensions added for a great price. Me being a friend of hers insisted that she go to my personal hair stylist and I’ll even pay for it! But no she wanted to go to this one because supposedly she known this lady for a bit and trusted her. So my friend proceeded with this and got it done. The next day she and I met up and I looked over it and omg it was done so poorly and looked horrendous! I could see where she braided all of my friends natural hair into one big ball in the back like she just tied a knot and everything was just uneven and placed randomly all over. The extensions were all loose and some have already fallen off due to it just being crammed all into one place. It was so heavy and thick! She sewed on the extensions very bad with very big gaps. I’m guessing she didn’t want to take her time and do it? It looked like it was rushed! It was overall a very crappy job! Anyone could of done better than that! And my friend even tipped her $75 bucks from what she told me. Really!?!?! My friend also said that she went back to get it fix but kept getting blown off. She was avoiding my friend and kept rescheduling it for the next few days like she didn’t care about my friend’s time! People, do your research and ask around and read reviews before you proceed with it. I can’t believe his place as mostly positive reviews, I bet they’re just her friends writing them.

I kinda like them. The can really braid 4c afro hair with blow drying.. Thats a plus for me..
