Beauty Salon

I have been coming to this salon for three years. I find the stylist to be very professional and friendly. If you would like have the same experience that I've had, then join us here!!

Disgusting place but workers are very good at what they do. Good service.

Rose gets the stars!!! Ali gets a half of 1 star and rachel gets 3 stars! Lol Go to rose! Those other 2 girls are in training I think. I have no idea. Rachel blow out is good but not color. Ali is just overall terrible. Rose is very very good. The best in there. There is another leader in the other side of the shop that’s good as well. Don’t know her name. She helped me when Ali was incompliant. Rachel gave me color that I didn’t ask for. So I would go back but only to rose.

For a guy it's the the best. Ask for Kim. She is great

I look like a beauty queen every time I leave the salon

Marvalous Hair & Beauty specializing in african american hair. Great location near the train station. Does not seem to be crowded and the prices are competitive.

Friendly & relaxing with well experienced caring staff

Carol is the best!

I used to love this salon-not any longer. I went the weekend before Thanksgiving for a trim. Yes, my hair is not in the best condition-I dieted aggressively last year & my hair thinned, and I have new/damaged growth. I had been been flat ironing it as a result to get it smooth. Each time I went in lately, I felt like I was being berated, especially the last appointment. It is NOT ok to make your clients embarrassed about the condition of their hair in front of other stylists & customers, especially after I showed up on time for my appointment & waited 20 minutes to get my hair washed, & another 10 for my cut after I was washed, and while I was sitting in the chair getting my hair cut, Amy decided to open a package that had come for her. Seriously? I don't want to leave a salon & feel worse and that day I I really did. Tell me how to improve my hair's condition and don't make me uncomfortable & embarrassed. Don't tell me each time that I have "residue" in my hair. I wash my hair every day. And then when it's suggested that I get a keratin treatment, I was told maybe I could ask for a gift card for Christmas since it's expensive. 1-I'm not giving this salon any more money 2-I can afford $300 for a keratin treatment since I work, thank you very much 3- A gift card for the salon is not what I want for Christmas. I'm done with Amy & this salon.

Great salon and personable staff

The lady agreed to do twist on my head . SHE MADE THEM SO HUGE and charged me the same price for smaller twists . She finished a whole head in 3 hours . It was a rip off . I would never go back there again !

Went there and there were two workers and they told me, 80, they called the owner and she said 85, I was walking out and they called me back and they said 80, all was well, my hair was done and the owner FANTA shows up, I left my cell phone with them because I had to get cash, needless to say, there is a sign on the door that says that they take cards. I paid them and the owner followed me out of the shop trying to ask me for more money, I told her no, this is the price you quoted me and she got irate. I left went to the Roselle Police Dept and filed a report as anyone who has encountered harassment from Fanta should do.Read the Reviews and AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS. AFRICAN BRAIDING shops are problematic in many communities and need to be regulated. Unfortunately with some AFRICANS money and fraud go hand in hand. Its unfortunate. I plan to file a report with the better business bureau.

Loved my experience. She caters to what you want. Great customer service skills and my weave was LAID!!!

Got my first weave done here and absolutely fell in love. Will be coming back !

I always have to wait, however the barbers are very professional, courteous, and Good at what they do. I recommend them to everyone.
