I have curly hair, so finding someone who can trim my hair a couple inches and know it'll pop back up once it's done has been a struggle. We finally found this place, and one of its employees had curly hair herself. With her recommendations and hair care, my hair has gone from floofy, frayed brown hair to rich, soft, curly red hair. Thanks to get knowledge, I've also found the perfect combination of products to care for my fragile hair. It's $55 per visit for both my mom and I to get our hair washed, conditioned, and trimmed. And you can bring your own products if you prefer them (we do because of sensitive scalp & fragile hair), so there's never a problem with the products used. The people are talkative and friendly and always have a smile. They also helped someone pick up a box and its contents when dropped without being asked, all on their free time at work. 10/10 would recommend! 😄

Your worker keep flicking cigarette Butts to the apartment complex behind the building. This is absolutely disgusting you clearly need to train your workers how to do better hair cuts and how to have some manners!!!

Lousiest hair cut I have ever had. Gave me a man's hair cut. She should retire.

What a great salon! Robin was extremely friendly and easy to talk to and really put me at ease. Sometimes trying to communicate what you want to a stylist can be awkward but Robin made this experience absolutely wonderful. I will definitely be back!

Two cutters available, no customers when I entered. I was ordered to sign in on an iPad. I declined and they wouldn't cut my hair. I had been going there for about 5 years. No more.

This is now the second shop to open up in Woodburn within the last 6 months that caters to the recreational market. They have supplies such as pipes, bongs, dab rigs etc.. The prices are very good and also this is the first store downtown that has these type of thing. Very cool I recommend you check them out!

Friendly stylists who do a great job.

I have had a wonderful experience at Hair Parloux with Lauren! After having an extreme allergy reaction to Goldwell products I found Lauren and Hair Parloux because they specialize in Difiaba color. Aside from being a great hair stylist and colorist, I always joke with Lauren about what a wonderful hairapist she is! If you need a great color job, hair cut, or dating coach, please look no further, she is your person to meet your needs. Also, Difiaba seems to be much gentler for sensitive skin than any other color line I have found. As a naturopathic doctor, I have become very picky about what I use on my skin and I am very happy with Difiaba.

Great experience in every respect. Kimo is a true professional. I was just passing through the neighborhood, but the beautiful salon and Kimo's attractive shellac sign outside caught my attention. I pulled in, spoke with Kimo, and made an appointment for the same day. The salon was clean and Kimo made sure that it remained so. The atmosphere was low key, low stress, very, very sane. It appears that staff gets along (which is not the case in all salons) and so the place was peaceful. Kimo addressed my many questions about the service/parking/etc. directly and thoroughly. She also strived to educate me about proper nail care and to encourage good habits and maintenance. Very few nail technicians have done that with me, in the past. But Kimo is not a nail technician. She is a business woman, she does hair, and if I had stayed longer, I would probably know a couple more things that she does. The service itself was perfect. Just what I asked for, no up-sell. Although I am an occasional user of salons, I'll definitely make a point to return to Kimo at Shine at the Salon.
