Just had an appointment today with Ursula and she was amazing! Not only did JV Salon send me a reminder email, and a text THEN the hair stylist also sent me a text! Talk about customer service! Ursula also asked if I wanted to come in earlier! She was so nice and gave me 100% of her attention! I wish I found this salon sooner! Totally recommend to everyone!

I went in here on a whim after I melted my hair off with color remover. They have so many options for really great prices. The gal that owns the store was wildly helpful. She helped me with the fittings, cut my lace for me, and gave me care instructions. There was no appointment necessary. She also gifted me a wig stand and brush. I feel really confident in my style right now. I will definitely be returning.

Brought my child here b/c of the great reviews. So disappointed. The lady didn't tell me until she was almost done that she doesn't do African American hair. Why don't they put that on their sign or why don't they tell people that when they call? She was rude. Among other things, when my child said, "please be gentle" as she took a comb and yanked through his hair. She said, "well next time you need to pick it out before coming in here". When I called they said child hair cut was $15, but the lady charged me $35! Really?! My child didn't have long hair. Barely had hair. Crazy! I gave her $40 cash and she was rude and acted like I don't need no change. I generally tip pretty well, but didn't feel like she needed a tip after all that. I ended up letting her keep the change. My child and I had enough. We will not be back. If you have African American blood in you, don't go there. They will make rude comments, jerk your head around, and overcharge you.

Cheap haircut. Does the job. Wasnt the highest quality, but you get what you pay for. Employees were nice though and seemed to love their jobs, so that's always a plus. Probably won't go back, but it was a good option when we first moved here and like I said before, got the job done.

It was aight, short wait depends if it's busy or not. They do their jobs well. Lie that they asked a lot of questions about what I want. Happy with I had when I walked out. They are not allowed to shave..

Chau Chau used to be at Mastercuts and recently moved to Supercuts. I've been going to her for over 5 years and will follow her anywhere. She is great with hair coloring and cares about you as a person. You should ask for her next time you go there.

The owner is a great stylist. She's very professional but down to earth. The location is in a good, centralized location of Waipahu. There's plenty of parking. It's best to make your appointment way in advanced since this is one of the only African American beauty salons on the island. Well worth the time, money and if you're coming from town then it is also worth the travel time.

Did a great job and I like the turn out. But, I feel like I paid twice as much because I'm not a "local". Highlights say 75+ and that leaves it open to charge whatever they want to whoever they choose. Probably won't go back due to outrageous prices.
