The service was terrible today. We were seated right away but the table was sticky/gritty. We asked for it to be wiped down and by the time the buser got to us our drinks were served so he just turned and walked away! The food took forever even though it was not busy at 2:30 pm on a Saturday. Not once did our server check on us after serving the food. My daughter's grilled cheese wasn't even melted, my toast had the tiniest bit of butter, the breakfast potatoes were overcooked, plus the sausage and bacon had obviously been sitting forever. We had to flag down other servers and ask them to get our server's attention. The man (owner, maybe?) at the register made no point to greet me or show any interest, just processed my check. Unfortunately, we won't be returning even though we looked forward to eating there and had planned it days in advance.

Bern here 3 times to give them a chance, but it's always bad. The staff is lax and there is always a wait, whether at the desk to be seated, or when you are seated and waiting for a server to get your drinks and introduce themselves. By the way, it is never full...go figure. I've called in to avoid the wait, i was told half an hour, got my email confirmation that the food is ready, and when I got there I had to wait another half an hour. Was told the front desk didn't receive the order, but the back received it and never prepared it :/ I drive an hour to get to the other IHOP in Milford than go 7 minutes down the road to this one.

The only reason it gets 2 stars is because some of the staff were very courteous and friendly unfortunately this place has gone down quick! Obnoxious dining atmosphere apparently everyone has to talk over everyone . The food was mediocre and I overheard (which wasn’t hard since people were so loud while they talked) a staff member talking to an interracial couple about about there relationship and racism etc. anyone could have seen how they tried leaving since they had a baby and were trying to pack up but he just kept at his racism conversation??? I didn’t know it was a talk show as well?

I was kind of disappointed with this IHOP. The food was alright until I found a hair in my pancake and I'd also like to point out that what you get looks nothing like the picture. My friends ordered Nutella crepes but received empty crepes with some Nutella on top. Maybe that's just the way they do things. I don't think I will visit this particular IHOP again. I'd rather go to a local diner for breakfast food, seems more genuine. On the other hand, our server was friendly and checked on us multiple times throughout our meal so I'll give this a 3 star for "It was okay".
