My boyfriend's mother told us about El Mariachi, and we enjoyed it the first few of times. We had no problems with service and the food was good. However, this last visit we had was not good at all. We had called ahead multiple times to place an order, and there was no answer. This was in the early evening. So, we decided to go in (hoping that they weren't closed for any reason) to place an order. When we got home we found that they were made incorrectly, the meat was tough, and the tortillas seemed stale. Mind you, we ordered four standard steak tacos, and one chicken taco without cilantro and onions. I want to say great things about this place because it seems authentic and I had good experiences prior. I don't know what happened, but this is why, after my last visit, I can only give them three stars. I hope my future experiences are better, but I may not be back for a while.

The food is pretty good here and there are a lot of menu options. Very large portions, so go there when your hungry! Casual dining. Love the cheese enchiladas!

The food was decent, affordable, and authentic. The produce seemed especially fresh. The food came out quickly, but it took us forever to put the order in, as there was only one server working on a Saturday evening. I'll more than likely return, but this isn't my first pick for local Mexican.

True authentic Mexican restaurant. Great menu and prices. One of my favorite lunch spots around!
