Only gave 2 stars because of the service. The food is always great. Visited them yesterday at about 7:00 PM and the servers behavior was very disappointing. Not just our server, but all of them. They kept going in and out the front door and were laying on the benches outside the front door. We could see our appetizer on the counter and the cooks had to yell to get the servers attention. She was standing at the hostess stand chatting with the other servers. Then when our food was ready she was outside again so another server brought it to us. When we were ready for the check I had to go find the manager. I could not figure out why it was ok for the servers to be outside the front door laying on the benches. There was another server taking care of a table on the patio, and she was sitting at the table with them. No one seemed to care that any of this was going on. When the manager brought my credit card back to the table, he didn't bring a pen and asked "Do you need a pen?" They acted like a bunch of kids whose parents were out of town. I hope they can get it together and find better ladies that know how to take care of their guests because we really like the food! It was obvious that they are lacking in leadership here.

Had wings and fries and the food was awesome. Our waitress was friendly and checked on us often. Manager was friendly and checked on us also. Awesome experience.

Today's shift for lunch was AWFUL. We were seated and the waitress took our lunch order. She walked away after bringing our drinks and didn't come back for at least 30 minutes. We had to stop the waitress as she walked away from another table to ask for drink refills. She told us that she had another table all the way across the small restaurant that she had to attend to. Our food took about 45 minutes to reach our table even though there were maybe 6-7 other tables seated in the entire restaurant. This was definitely the most disappointing trip I've had at Hooters.

I’ve been to several Hooters restaurants in the US, and one in Canada, and I think this one in the Shreveport area is among the best. The food is good here, and the servers have been polite, friendly, and efficient every time I’ve been here. The cuisine might be described as “American bar food”. Expect fried things, burgers, sandwiches, etc. It's also a “breastaurant”. Expect the servers to be wearing tight clothes. I recommend the shrimp wings, although there isn’t anything I’ve tried that I didn’t like.
