Can't say enough good things about this place. It was definitely the finest Louisiana food we had during our four day stay there. The fried alligator was delicious and the Nola bites were just as good. Jeremiah was a standout and a hospitable funny cool dude to talk to while having a few drinks. Doesn't look like much on the outside but inside it is gorgeous. Plenty of seating with upstairs and downstairs and watch your chargrilled oysters get cooked by Derek an equally cool dude. Also had the bacon and garlic oysters and the Buffalo oysters. I would definitely recommend this to a friend and anyone wanting to try authentic Louisiana food and southern hospitality.

The food was amazing. I would eat there again. Portions were great for the price. Service was great. Food service was fast as well. I went here not knowing what to expect and was surprised by the options available and any and all questions were answered.. Highly highly recommend trying the food in the Creole restaurant.

If you don't get place at Ruby Slippers this is where you go. No really. It is not that it is second best. On the contrary it is 'will never disappoint you' place. The waiters are very polite and always smiling. You almost feel like at home.

Found this place on our third day here, what a shame! The best food we've had all week. The Boudin was incredible, great flavor and texture. The sauce served with the sauteed crab claws was delicious. Cocktails were also excellent. The host, the server, and the manager were all very friendly, courteous, and had great knowledge of the menu. Great atmosphere as well. Can't say enough about this place, can't wait to come back!

Enjoyed the quick, efficient service. Food was good. Only complaint was my food was lukewarm. It was corrected immediately.Nice and able to communicate with your company without screaming over music or other people talking. The food keeps your mouth closed...its that good.😁
