Came here during my last visit to New Orleans and it is easily now one of my favorite places. The oysters were delicious! So were the crab cakes and everything else we ordered. The service was great. Great place to go if you want something a little relaxed.

We visited Mr. Ed's on 2 occasions during our last trip to New Orleans and it was just like we remembered. Their raw oysters are some of the best in the French Quarter and the grilled oysters were delicious as well. The seafood nachos were great and plenty for 2+ to share we strongly recommend them. The gumbo and jumbalya were very good also. To us the best part was the staff. On our 3 trips there the person shucking the oysters has been great. We love to sit at the bar and talk to them. The bartenders and wait staff have been great as well. We also did not have a wait so if the line at Acme is to long this is an excellent back up plan!

Interesting place with good food Had the fried seafood platter; both of us loved the shrimp and fish in particular - we'd never had oysters before (probably won't ever again). We sat at the bar and the bar staff were great! Good Hurricanes and were attentive to our needs.

Blond bartender was awesome. Sad I didn't catch her name. Whole staff was very friendly. Just went for some apps and drinks. Next time I'm in town will stay for dinner. Really cute decorations. Best chargrilled oysters!! Prices more reasonable than some places.

The food was great for sure, especially the charbroiled oysters and the creole gumbo but I was even more struck with the incredible staff and service. They literally pulled a table out onto the sidewalk for me to be able to enjoy their delicious food with my dog on my lap! That's service! And the hostess who helped me with my choices, the waiters/waitresses and I think manager were all so super friendly and efficient. So go for the food because it really is good but appreciate the service because it is top notch!
