Amazing atmosphere. The staff are exceptionally trained on dishes and their components. Additionally, the musical tones match perfectly with the aesthetics. Attire is standard dress, come-as-you-are feel. The bar was expertly designed, and the overall construction of the building has great sound control. The multiple levels help thoroughly control the dining decibels. The staff cannot be complimented enough. They truly take care of your experience from start to finish!

The atmosphere is absolutely incredible. Our server, Christine, was beyond knowledgeable. Super friendly, knew more about the establishments food than I'm sure the chefs did. Food, and wide variety of cocktails were absolutely delicious, with an emphasis on ingredients made in house as much as possible. Had the Jambalaya with a specialty cocktail called Winning Colors with Hibiscus Infused Gin. The atmosphere and ambient music adds to this historic charm of this brick claden and driftwood building. Absolutely would come back.

Great last minute Friday night dinner with friends. Made a 9:30 reservation on their website about 15 before. Showed up and had to wait a little, makes sense since I only made the reservation 15 ahead of time. No worries we sat at the bar and had a drink. Drinks were great, a couple of cocktails off their menu. Seating was upstairs, really liked the atmosphere, good place for dinner conservation. Ordered the fried deviled eggs to start, mouth watering. There was a debate about what jambalaya is, a soup or not. Menu describes it as a stew, in the end we decided it was a Lousianas answer to risotto. I had a delicious burger. Good times.

The restored brick in this place adds a nice touch. The service was great, our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was absolutely fantastic! The brown butter ice cream was by far the best ice cream flavour I have ever tried. Definitely one to try!

Husband and I tried Toutant for the first time on a Saturday night. Made reservations for 5:30pm, restaurant was pretty empty then but was packed when we left at 7pm. Our drink orders were taken promptly. Our waiter was very professional but friendly, had great knowledge of the menu, and let us take our time enjoying our meal (didn't rush out our food). We ordered the hush puppies, small bowl of gumbo, and went with the waiter's recommendation of the bbq beef short ribs (he said it was enough for sharing). We shared everything and were plenty full. The ribs were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, and the hush puppies and gumbo were excellent! I was so pleased that we tried this place and now have found a new favorite restaurant. We will return soon to try their weekend brunch. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
