Great atmosphere. The food is fantastic. Everything was delicious, except for calamari. The service was very good. Overall pleased with everything. Surprised that they didn't let us have the dessert on the house, since we were celebrating a birthday. But will definitely return.

This places is like a traditional steak house without the stuffiness. The best drinks, food and service you can ask for. Bring anyone here and it is sure to impress but it will probably be busy so make your reservation early. The stuffed hash browns are a must try dish. The baked Alaska might not be something you would normally order but here it is another must try.

First thoughts: incredible, and I loved the ambiance and interior design. We were seated at a table towards the front/middle, but it still felt intimate and the seats were comfortable and plush. Our waiter Jeremy was great and made the awesome recommendation of the pork chop explaining he thought the fruit and nut chutney really made it, and he was right! The stuffed hash browns were of course incredible. Great service, our table was kept clean and our glasses full. Definitely recommend and definitely will return!

This was my first time at Butcher & Singer for lunch. And, I'm already planning my next visit. My sister and I took off from work for a day of lunch and shopping. We started with the potato skins appetizer. Best potato skins I've had in a very long time. I had the Investment Manhattan, which was the perfect accompaniment for the Ribeye Steak Sandwich. My sister had the Butcher Burger (her favorite). Our waiter took care of us. And, along with the ambiance, we had a very relaxing and fulfilling lunch.

I ate here for lunch with my team last week. We were immediately seated for our reservation, so the wait time was perfect. The restaurant is amazing, really high ceilings and a really classic look. Our waiter, Ronny, was amazing from the time he greeted us until he brought out a dessert for my birthday with a candle. We never had a completed plate or empty drink sit there for longer than a minute, and he was really friendly and courteous, he really made it a great dining experience. The only thing that was better than service was the superbly delicious food. We had shrimp cocktails to start that were fresh and tasted great. Then we had what I can only describe as the best burger I have ever had (and definitely the best burger in Philly), the Butcher Burger. It seriously melted in your mouth. We highly recommend this place for lunch. I actually can’t wait to do dinner there now!
