2nd time trying this Bee's and the experience was everything you'd expect from a center city chain restaurant. The first time I was there, I arrived around 9:30-10 and I wasn't greeted by the host, instead he simply demanded our ID. Okay? We didn't even get to a table to order alcohol, we literally just walked in the door. I've gone to several other Bee's around the same time or later and wasn't carded by the host. So that was strike one and really off putting. Then we waited 25 minutes after being seated to be greeted by our sloppy server who's underwear and ass were out the entire time. His shirt was gross and stained and he just overall smelled bad. We had to order our drinks and food from the bar. He was surprised when runners started bringing our food out while he was trying to tell us specials. Fast forward a month later to tonight for our second visit, walked in, host was nice this time, but in fear of a repeat of last time, we decided to skip full service and just sit at the bar. We got settled in and waited 12 minutes and we didn't even see a bartender. The other patron said he's been MIA for at least 20 minutes. Decided to walk out.
