We've given this Mellow Mushroom franchise several tries. We've received poor service and food that was not very good. I know this chain has some good in it: ones near Atlanta are very good. However, this one, in Anderson SC, falls quite short. Our last pizza here was served partially raw. We'd asked for it "well done". After waiting awhile for a "manager" to discuss a bill adjustment based on the poor food, we experienced this response: "Well it's hard to tell how done the pizzas are with the ovens here" Unbelievable! How many other diners have received poorly baked pizza? Later, Anderson Mellow Mushroom, much later.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The pizza was excellent, and so was our salad. They also have a great selection of beer on tap. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food!

As a former employee , i can say you do not want to take your business here. There is standing water in the dish pit that has been there for months. Leakage repairs that'll probably never get done. And to top it all off they don't pay their employees. If you would like more info message me and i can provide bank statements of bounced checks and also audio recording of talking to the owner and him admitting that he has not provided check stubs becore and him admitting that he did not provide them on time. The law is that there has to be two weeks written notice if the day or payment method of checks is changed. I have all the evidence!

A friend and I had a really great lunch today(wed). The best mushroom soup ever. One of the ingredients used is burgundy .My friend says the pizza was one of the best she has ever had!!!!. My only problem is the lack of sound insulation.

Updated Review: After talking with the manager Keith, he was very friendly and apologized for the inconvenience. I originally rated it 3 stars but have changed to 5 stars. Thank you for making it right because some restaurants could care less if you had a bad experience or not! :-) Original Review: Went today and one of the things I wanted to order were wings. THEY WERE OUT OF WINGS AT LUNCH TIME. What in the world!?!? Usually the food is pretty good here though. They have gotten my previous wing orders wrong from time to time (I always order BBQ wings all flats).
