This place has some tasty Seafood! I got the Crab Pot and it was very tasty! Lots of butter. The Hush Puppies were delicious! The service was good, but not exceptional. I will come back here again upon my next visit to Charleston! The wine was also affordable at $6 a glass. A couple places in Charleston have a huge up charge on their adult beverages, but this place is NOT one of them.

Had dinner on the patio last night and everything was fabulous!! I had the grilled shrimp and they were So huge!! The scampi butter sauce they were tossed in was nothing short of delicious!! Catherine was our server and she did an outstanding job taking care of us.... the entire wait staff was upbeat, fun, and determined to please. I definitely recommend having a meal here!!

I love staying at the Isle of Palms area and was in search of an East coast seafood restaurant to become a 'go-to' when i travel there. The food was outstanding and the customer service was excellent! The prices are suited for the quality and well within an expexted range of this kind of dining. It is beautifully designed for a dressed up date night out as a couple and offers a home-like warm inviting atmosphere for family and friends to enjoy! It is definitely an added restaurant that I will be returning to. *do expect a short walk from parking areas on busy weekends or nights. It was busy the evening I was there because of an event, but the parking is still very close, depending where at, and well worth the effort!*

Casual atmosphere and good seating options. Ordered the steam pot with two types of crab, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn all with an herbed butter. Also got an order of hush puppies that were very sweet with a delicious honey butter. Food was hot, tender, and flavorful. Staff was friendly but tea glass went empty a couple times due to server working for tips chatting with a table with larger party. Overall good experience.

One of the finest places I have eaten in a very, very long time. Nestled just off Market Street in downtown Charleston, the Charleston Crab House may seem small upon initial observation. Don't let that discourage you from taking a peek inside or, at the very least, the menu posted on the wall outside the restaurant. Our server, Sierra was prompt, friendly, and quick to answer questions both about the local area and about any of the items on the menu. She even took the time to interact with our kids. The food (burger and popcorn shrimp for the kids, and two of the Crab Buckets for myself and for my wife) arrived promptly and well-presented. All of us agreed that the food they brought us was superb - especially the crab buckets (definitely worth every penny!) The only drawback was the slenderness of the dessert menu. Sierra saved the day by recommending a small sit-down shop nearby that served only dessert and nightcaps (more on that in another review).
