Used the Hilton/Ruth’s Chris for a corporate event and had the most outstanding customer service. Kelsey Thomas in the catering department and a Shannah Burden at the Hilton helped us with every question we had and went above and beyond to have the event planned for us. At dinner, Adam, our server was extremely attentive and made sure every one of our needs were met. Every attendee enjoyed the dinner and the breakfast buffet the next morning. We will definitely be booking the Hilton and Ruth’s Chris for any upcoming events we have in Columbia.

My daughter brought me here for my birthday. Server was very considerate waited patiently while we ate our appetizer, then brought our wonderful ice cold salads. Didn't bring our entrees until we had finished our salads, wonderful food, best steaks in Columbia S.C. fixed exactly right. So delicious. Recommend Ruth/Chris any time lunch or dinner. We were so relaxed, not rushed through our meal, enjoyed immensely. She then brought our coffee & dessert. Was a wonderful experience! ! Will be back soon& ask for server if possible b/c she was a professional in how to treat people, so they enjoy their visit. At Ruth /Chris

We dined here over Memorial Day weekend while staying at the hotel. The service was frankly, insultingly bad. We waited more than 30 minutes after we finished our first course to receive our entrees. By then, my steak was shoe leather having very obviously sat under a heat lamp for an extended period- no sizzling platter here.

Perhaps the worst Porterhouse steak we have had in a long time. We had ordered the 40oz Porterhouse cooked medium well, yet the meat was cooked inconsistent. Great service, but horrible product. And this is not judging Ruth Chris only on this experience, but we have tried this particular brand 2 different times in 2 different states and the result has been the same-disappointment.

Excellent place to eat. I didn't give 5 stars because our sides were cold. They were extremely busy when we were there.
