We ordered two appetizers and entree for 2 to share. The portion is okay. Curry cauliflower is pretty good with the pesto. The octopus is apparently overpriced for $28 you got. It is okay but not delicate enough. The tenderloin is average. The waiter did t even offer pepper until we asked . And they grind a little bit pepper then left . Maybe he’s too busy to serve us? 20% tips is automatically added here. Not cheap. For the same price you can find other better options elsewhere.

This is a farm-to-table restaurant. I like the variety of ingredients & combination of flavors. The food is seasonal & fresh. The cons are it’s too greasy, too salty, over seasoned & overpriced. The atmosphere is pleasant & there is an extensive wine list. I don’t care for the waiters wearing farm aprons. Makes you feel like you are in a barn instead of a classy restaurant. Overall, a good place to try once or twice.

Loved about the place : Service, Music, Food presentation, Portion size Disliked : Decor, Value My main point against The Lakehouse is that their food is just average. They have some nice ideas, but the execution is just average. With that in mind, I'd say the price point is a bit too high (hence my dislike for value). We've tried 4 different menu items and they were all just OK. We were hoping for a little bit of a Wow on any of the dishes, so a bit disappointed in that regard. The decor is just weird. We liked the overall theme, but some things (like the flowers painted/wallpapered on the walls) just ruined it for us. It felt like the theme is inconsistent. The good part is that the service was delightful and they definitely know how to present the dishes. The music was also on point, both the selection and the volume.

Been twice now. Both times the food was inventive. Probably not for everyone in the mall crowd but if you enjoy food like octopus (this dish is great) and house made pastas check it out. There is also a whole chicken to share cooked in different ways that was a lot of fun. Servers both times took great care of us.

My wife and I came in last week and were recommended by another bar (which is a good thing). We ended up staying for a few hours! The drinks were good and though we were just in for a drink we decided to try a few app plates. Octopus was excellent! We sat at the bar and our bartender (Chris) made the experience! He was very social, professional and efficient but his friendliness was "genuine" not fake or forced. We felt like we were at home relaxed and having a good time... Food was good, drinks and wine selection were good and service was great! We will be back and I would recommend this innovative and creative space - The Lakehouse.
