We ordered all our appliances from Best Buy, and this is the company that delivered them to Brandon MB for us. Everything was going smoothly until our fridge was backordered and came separately from the rest of the appliances. When Best Buy called us and told us the delivery date we arrange our schedules for that date to happen. The refrigerator was supposedly Scheduled for delivery on a Saturday morning, so We waited until late Friday afternoon and never heard from anybody to confirm a time for Saturday morning. We called the shipping company and they told us they could not deliver our refrigerator because They had no people to do it. So I then volunteered to help unload the fridge and bring it in my own house as long as I have someone to drive the truck two hours west to Brandon . Then that wouldn't work, because they Hadn’t picked up the fridge from the store and did not have any helpers to move it (which meant they had absolutely No intent of ever delivering it on Saturday between the hours of 8 and 11 because the store didn’t open until 10 on Saturday morning) they then tried to convince me to have it delivered on Monday or Tuesday I tried to explain to them that Sunday morning we were heading out of town for three weeks and we have someone coming to housesit for us and we needed a refrigerator . So after a long wait time I finally got a call back and they said Saturday morning would work. The next day at 1 o’clock I called the company to ask where my fridge was because it was after 11. They said they were just leaving Winnipeg and should be there soon. Finally at 3:30 in the afternoon they showed up in someone’s personal minivan with my fridge out of the box laying down flat in the back. I was not impressed however at this point I just wanted my refrigerator, so after getting it in the house I noticed it had a dent on the bottom freezer door, they offered to take it back I said we had no choice but to keep it for now so we wrote on the paperwork that there was a dent on the refrigerator and we got a copy of the paperwork. After we got back from our vacation we contacted Best Buy to see what could be done about the damage they offered to cut us a check for some compensation with the dent and then said they would go after the delivery company to see if they would kick in some money as well. Best Buy called back today and said that the delivery company did everything right and claims there was absolutely no damage on the fridge even though I have signed paperwork from the driver stating that it does. This company is not Even remotely in the category of a professionally ran Moving company. They have no accountability or drive to supply superior customer service, and I say that because I talked to one of the delivery drivers and he told me this was the only delivery and Brandon for that day and they were all supposed to have the weekend off so that’s why they did not want to come. Best Buy! needs to find them self a new carrier service because this one isn’t cutting it!
