Very bad customer service and delivery service. I paid additional Customs fees of 23CAD (in addition to the shipping fees i already paid when i placed my order for the item online). Delivery window is from early morning 7:30am to late afternoon 7:30pm and even though my mobile phone is listed in the shipping information, the delivery driver does not bother giving me a call nor ring the bell. Apparently DHL delivery expects the customer to be at the front door of the house for the entire time from 7:30am to 7:30pm to get the package, other wise it will simply assume the customer is not home. When I paid the additional customs fees I checked the option of "No Signature required" yet the customer service representative told me it would require 48hours to be updated in the system. Currently I am waiting for the item to be redelivered after 4 days (earliest re delivery date) with an expected delivery window from 7:30am to 7:30pm. I placed instruction for driver to call me once he/she arrives and to leave it at the door if I could not be reached. I also rechecked that "No Signature required" option is on. Overall, very bad customer service and delivery service. I will do my best to avoid DHL and never use their service again.

Zero stars. This nightmare began on a Friday. Got notification my parcel was out to be delivered, so I paid the required duties (I was unaware of until that day). I left instruction for parcel to be left at the door, as I had paid for express 2 day shipping and needed it for the following day. Parcel wasn't left. Of course, they don't deliver or aren't open on the weekend. The following Monday, someone stayed at my house to ensure someone was home when they came. Guy told her I owed duties/taxes etc (although they were paid) and wouldn't give her my parcel. I have made numerous calls to get this sorted, DHL says my file shows everything is paid and it should be left. Wasn't again. I'm waiting to see if he leaves it today, I even left a note on my door telling him to contact dispatch to see that the amount has been paid in full, but I'm not hopeful.

Absolute garbage company! Years of problems with them, from them telling my address is impossible/nonexistent, that they can't find it, and wanting to charge me more to ship a parcel up here because they don't want to deliver it even after I've paid DHL for shipping to here. And most recently they lost my parcel and gave me a mislabeled one meant for someone else! They won't even deliver up here, they just hand it off to Canada Post to deliver. When I called them they gave me the runaround, from telling me Canada Post did the mistake (even though I called them first and they told me Loomis printed the label and stuck it on the wrong package), and they also said it was DHLs fault for shipping even after DHL had done nothing wrong and handed the package off to them. Their representative in Dartmouth refused to admit they lost my package, told me it was my fault, repeatedly said it wasn't his problem, told me I should speak to DHL, and then just transfered me to DHL on the phone because he didn't want to talk to me anymore. DHL should dissolve this abomination because they give them a bad name. Never ship with them, and don't expect reasoning or sympathy from these so called professional who act like children.

Save yourself frustration and use another shipping company unless you don’t mind being f@$ked over. Parcel was not delivered to my home regardless of what the call center told me. I even printed off a signed notice saying to leave package . My cell number was available as well . Some of the customer service representatives were nice , but unfortunately they cannot call the actual distribution center if you have issues about pick up and delivery . You most likely will be picking up your parcel because the delivery seems impossible, and according to the other 48 reviews on google - it happens A LOT !! Terrible company to deal with. Do yourself a favour and use Fed-Ex or Puralator. My rating is negative one star

I was home when the delivery was "attempted." No knock, no phone call, no intercom buzz. Nothing. Contacted them to let them know I was home after I received a text message saying I wasn't to get the driver to come back. He had eight hours to return, never did. Closed on weekends so I can't pick up my "express" package. Top notch. Really top notch.
