DHL Express

I really wish I could give them less that 1 star. I bought a phone from China and paid extra for dhlexpress to deliver my parcel within a week. It got from China to montreal in a record 4 days. My package was then held by customs, so I called dhl and they tell me to wait while they determine the duty fees. I phone them again the next day, and I'm told the same thing so I contact the brokerage team and they inform me that the original invoice is missing. I ask them why they didn't contact me right away instead of wasting a whole day, then I provide them with all the necessary info, they release my package 2 days later and i pay the duty fees. They promise to deliver the package asap (next day). Long story short, here we are over a week later, my package is still on hold even though its been released by customs and my duty payment has been processed , no attempts to update me have been made, and I wasted all my money on dhl's so called "express" service. The estimated delivery was today, so to save myself a bit of trouble I tried to go pick up the package from the service point where its been for the past week but they wouldn't allow me. They said it would be ready by tomorrow but I'm sure that's a lie too. Truly disappointed, with dhl services, don't do business with this company

Kept my things for days! Take me to that place by telling lie that, they will compensate the car gas! Lier and fraud!

I had a package delivered via DHL unfortunately. Didn't have a choice as this is the only shipping company used by Eloquii from the US to Canada. 19.50$US to have it delivered to my house. Finally noticed it said on the website that 2 delivery attempts had been made. NEVER got a delivery notice. Called early Monday morning to arrange for delivery the same day. They had another department call me back at 10AM. At 10:15AM I called them back as no one had called me. They said someone would call me at 10:55A. The agent did call me and said she'd put in the request by email to the warehouse and told me to check the website for updates of the package. Hours passed. Website still said ON HOLD. Called the agent back at 3PM. I had to leave her a message. She never called back. Did call back the same number at 4:15PM. Spoke to another agent who didn't speak French. Said he would put in a request again. I asked if someone could call the warehouse and confirmed. He said not. Said he'd spoken to the previous agent and she'd put in a request again and that she never got any reply from the warehouse. Tried to speak to a manager. Impossible. Called DHL customer service back. They also refused to call the warehouse. Said there was no manager available and that she could only have some call me back in 2 hours. Still no delivery and still the website says ON HOLD. At 19.50$US for shipping from the US when it can be free or max 9.50$ Canadian with Canada Post. Come on! DHL does not care about customer service and is not what we could call an innovative company if you can't call a warehouse. (Update: 7:30PM still not delivered and DHL's customer service is closed.)

The worst shipping company ever. I would rate it for less than 1star but unfortunately i dont have this option. Wasted my time with promises to deliver it on time and its still not happened. Suppose to be delivered on thursday. Wasted all day on saturday waiting for my package like it was said over the phone by a customer service representative on friday evening and i even called on saturday morning to confirm if its coming on today and on my simple question will it be 100%? they said "Yes" and after my callback to ask whats going on because it was getting late and no attempt has been made, the representatives gave me an excuse guess what? No delivery today! The tracking does not get updated at all. Ruined my saturday awaiting for my delivery. After i spoke to reps again the delivery was scheduled for monday... still not delivered! Where is my package??? When i use other shipping companies like EMS, Fedex, UPS ... never have any single problem. Seems like only DHL cant make it on time rescheduling delivery the day after another. Unprofessional! Lazy! Not organized service at all! Never use DHL because its a headache to deal with em and at the end you will end up picking up yourself and paying duties even its 1 cent value! Shady company! They should not be on the market with the way they get the job done!

First time - they lost my package for a week. Second time - told me I had six packages (???) when I only had two (and I knew I only ordered four things, so at max it would be four boxes, not six, but they weren't about to listen to me) and that was after leaving the card on my door. I arranged to go pick it up, but then they told me I couldn't have the packages for two days until they figured out there really were just two. (super frustrating and a wasted trip for me) And the third time - Customs in the same building opened my package using a box opener and scratched the back of an expensive art piece AND the tracking showed attempted delivery when I was home waiting and there was no card on the door (and I never saw their truck, I was waiting) meaning they probably left the card at the wrong house... I double check that things are NOT being sent by DHL from now on. Worst experiences ever. Once I could forgive. Twice is too much already, but three times pushes me past the point of no return.
