The staff was very friendly and the lobby looked really nice. I was happy that the room had air conditioning. The room was quite large and clean when we got there, which was nice. However, the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. The shower took a long time to get hot water and when the water got hot it was to the point of burning and wouldn't go down in temperature unless I shut it off. The water pressure was so high that it felt like my skin was being pelted. I wasn't impressed with the shower. The Jacuzzi was at least a pleasant experience and had a good amount of room to relax. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again because i wasn't well rested, but it was a decent stay for the price.

Courtyard's are fairly consistent across North America and I usually give these properties a 3 or maybe a 4. This property is unique. Rooms spotless, spacious and modern. The staff greet clients with a SMILE. Smiles to me = hospitality. I never heard the word no. The only complaint would be I never found a pool. It may have one but I could not find it. If I am within 30 miles of this property I will stay again.

Hotel is clean and simple. Staff friendly and helpful, however there are issues. There is no courtyard at this "Courtyard" Marriott. We were hoping to sit and relax in the sun after our drive, but there is one steel bench against a wall by the back parking lot. Not much for amenities here... Hot water issues as mentioned in other reviews. Something is up with the plumbing as I had scalding or stone cold. It seems as the faucet is a recommendation more than a temperature setting. Window in our room was fogged up between the panes. You could see outside if you got on your toes and tried looking out of the upper pane. The television was the type to pull out and swivel if you wanted to watch it from the bed. Problem was if you slightly moved the cable in the back the reception went bad. I would normally sort this out easily by tightening the connections, but they have some tamper-proof connectors and there is nothing you can do but try to giggle it to clear it up again. Lastly, the pullout desk in my room was barely screwed together. I had to try and tighten it by hand to be able to work on my laptop. Regretted not going to the worse rated Inn of Waterloo...at least they have a pool.

Was upgraded to a Jr suite when arrived. Room was spacious, king sized bed, and quiet area of hotel on third floor. Would stay again.
