He is a great guy

I've known Troy for 27 years and he has always treated my wife and I like his family. He has had many opportunities to take from us or do us wrong but he never has. He is opinionated and firm in his beliefs but we love him for thaf. I highly doubt some of the things being said about this man on this page are true. In fact if he ever needed me i would be there for him in a minute.

Does anyone know how to get in contact with Troy as we’re looking to have another house built and he built our last one. We wouldn’t trust anyone else to build for us quite frankly as he truly is the best !!

I find all these bad reviews and horrible things being said about him very very suspicious. I’ve purchased a few things off of him over the years without any trouble and he finished my basement a dozen years ago and did a great job. I came to find him as we need another home built and was hoping he was still building houses.

Johns wife

I’ve read the reviews after talking to my husband John about this and I’m just so sorry for what some of these people are saying about Troy Especially the guy who calls himself S. You say you’ve known him and his family for 40 years which means you were in his inner circle of people he trusted. For you to write such trash about him when it doesn’t sound like he has done anything to you is bewildering honestly. Maybe you are one of many who took advantage of his giving heart but now you pile onto the list of others who say trashy things of him. I’m highly doubtful that any of these things are true as we got to know him very very well. The last thing to motivate him was money in fact he did many things for us completely free of charge as John eluded to. The tray ceiling is only one out of a dozen things that this man did for us without charging us a single dime.

Troy has been nothing but great to us

Not sure who this person is who labels themselves as S but because you won’t use your name I’m left without any doubt that you don’t know him at all. You never eluded to having any proof that he scammed you or anyone you know frankly and simply jumped on here to add to the lies being told about him. I can tell you he built a beautiful home for our family and treated us like gold through the entire process. He even gave us a free tray ceiling in our living room because he said it needed it and we couldn’t afford the costs. Honestly the things being said about this man are not at all close to the man we’ve known him to be for the entire year it took him to build our home. He was super anal about the quality of home he built and his designs that he pulled out of his head at last minute were nothing short of beautiful. I would require proof to believe anything other than this man is one of the great ones.

Troy is a scammer now, unfortunately.

(1/2) I have known Troy and his family personally for over 40 years. He also did some work for my relatives' cottage. He was ONCE a good contractor in the Fredericton area, but his greed, ego and compounded poor choices and lies have gotten the better of him. The comments from "Jessica" are very obviously not a legitimate customer, he just needs someone to help his rating rise so he can continue to scam people to survive. Any REAL customer would be taking into account the MULTIPLE "current" customer testimonies about him, and wouldn't be calling them "F*cked in the head", that's a giant red flag if I ever saw one. A real customer would also likely think "wow he was great to us, its a shame he has turned out this way". Its all a lie, and likely not even a real customer. Its more likely that its either him, or a friend that he's lied to and convinced he's innocent.

Troy White took $5000 in deposits from us!

over Covid my husband found some things on marketplace out for sale, all of the things I see listed in these complaints on him plus some more, pontoon boat, truck, generator, tractor, a second truck oh, and our utility hauling trailer as well. His wife, Jodi Carr space had everything listed on marketplace. When it was time to discuss deposits, Troy was readily available. He then offered my husband all those other things when initially, he only called about the truck he said it be much easier to sell everything to one individual as they were part of his father‘s estate and he should be home in the next few months to be able to bring him to see it and finish payment. Well he never apparently came back. At that point he worked on an oil rig and was off the gulf of Mexico! Due to Covid he was not allowed to leave the boat for over a year, bullshit! Now that we’ve seen all these complaints, and now that we know where he is …. We will be in touch.

Amazing builder

All these fucking idiots saying negative things about Troy are clearly fucked in the head. He is probably the best builder in all of Canada and yes he built our beautiful home. It angers for me to read these as I know first hand how much of himself that man gives to others including us when he built our palace. Take your hate back to where you picked it up because you’re certainly not fooling me.

Not a contractor, just a scammer.

We met with Troy in person in September regarding some work needing done on our place. He gave us an idea what needed to be done, said he would have us an estimate in a couple weeks. It never came. When i asked when anything would happen he said Jan-Feb. That came and went and my MULTIPLE calls, voicemails and texts went unanswered. Eventually i gave up and got a new contractor. Thank goodness! It sounds like i dodged a HUGE bullet! I am releived to hear i am not the only one that fell for his bullshit. I wish i could give zero stars.

Troy White - Scammer

Total scammer - my husband and I have lost a lot of money to this guy and I'd like to see justice served. Law suit in the works, please contact me to join. lydiakieffer@gmail.com. We actually met in person and handed over money. Talked with Troy over a year during Covid, sent a deposit for a tractor and then met in person to complete the FULL payment. I'm embarrassed to admit that we were so trusting (and stupid). He is a professional scammer and I don't want to see anyone else fall for this - DO NOT trust him or send him money. *Does not deserve 1 star*
