At excellent boat launch with plenty of parking. There's a nice walking Path and an incredible view of the Ottawa river. Sun sets are the best time to visit. A popular place for Pokemon go and fishing. There are tons of people parking there boats here so must be an affordable place

I think it's private, just for US Steel employees. Looks like a very nice place - clean, well-kept. No restaurant, but a grill at each slip. It's at the back of the Hot Strip Mill, and you have to enter thru US Steel property. Gravel road; gated entrance. Don't know how you would find out more about it. There's no phone number at the gate.

I brought my boat (2006 Glastron SX 175) to Hurst Marine to get the bottom redone. It had what is known as osmosis (the gel coat was bubbling on the bottom of the boat) and after going through many marina stores many of whom were willing to do a cash deal (no thanks I wanted a receipt and warranty on the work) I was recommended to Hurst Marina. Hurst provided an estimate, warranty and receipt $2900.00. Chris Hurst, Corey and the rest of the team sure made a bad situation good and not only fixed the problem, but it looks like the boat just came out of the factory. The team at Hurst sent me pictures during the repair process so I could track the progress. I thought this was very impressive. Their estimate was on target and they even did the spring tune up for me and water tested the boat. All I have to do is launch it at my marina when I am feeling better and enjoy the boating season. I see now why so many people choose Hurst Marine for sales and service. I am now a Hurst Marine customer.

I showed up with a decent sized list including trying to find a small esoteric part from a 30 year old cabin cruiser. I've looked everywhere. Trust me. They didn't have it (because nobody has had it since the 80s best I can tell), but I had the great fortune of having Peter help me out and by the time I'd left, we had a workable solution that solved a problem I hadn't solved in years. Peter's attention and service is exemplary. It may very well be the best service I've had anywhere. To get through my list, when necessary, Peter got me talking to the right staff to check another item off. For many many marine items, there just is no substitute probably outside of Kingston, Montreal or Toronto and I'm grateful to have them around.

My wife and I bought our very first boat from Dirk at Action Water Sports at Pine Lake Marina. We didn't know what to expect and were extremely pleased with our experience. Dirk was very knowledgable of not only his offering, but of many other boat brands and models, which made selecting the right boat for us a very easy decision. What made our purchase of the boat here even better is the ability to slip our boat at Pine Lake Marina. Pine Lake is a beautiful all sports lake, that never seems to be very congested despite the number of boats docked throughout the lake. It's an amazing lake to enjoy all types of activities on your boat!!! As for the staff at this location, they are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. Dirk has done a wonderful job here and the ski school is always rocking during the Summer. One of the things my wife is looking forward to is the Women's Driving Course being held on June 3 (another great offering from Action Water Sports). All in all, I would have to say our (and ALL of our family and guests) experiences have been wonderful and would HIGHLY recommend Action Water Sports and the Pine Lake Marina to anyone interested!!!
