I am a local contractor in the town of Hope. A customer of Starline (Who will remain anonymous for this story) recently contracted me to fix a problem in their kitchen that was a result of the work done by Starline. I was happy to take on the project. But was instructed to bill Starline directly. When the work was completed. The customer was extremely pleased by the quality of the workmanship. So I sent my bill off to Starline. After waiting two weeks for payment. I kindly asked Starline via email when they intend to settle up the invoice. I was simply told ; "We are awaiting payment from (anonymous) . As soon as we get that we will send a cheque. Thanks for your understanding." I found it very unprofessional and unethical of Starline to place me in such a predicament. And to attempt to use me as leverage to force the customer to pay up while I wait empty handed, when what I was tasked for was properly done and completed. Starline never ended up paying me. After consulting with the customer. They opted to pay for the bill themselves out of their own pocket. Even though this was a problem that Starline caused and was responsible for taking care of.

This is my experience mid December stopped in the show room to get contact to quote on our bar design she took all info and someone would call. 2 weeks went by so I called and they apologized. So I give benefit of doubt. She comes by to measure and quote. I get email of partial quote January 12th also stating will have complete info with in the week. I go away for a week come home to check email...nothing. I called her on January 29th to follow up with my quote and have never heard a thing back from them by phone or email and today's date is February 5th. I am talking about a great size bar to quote on. I would not recommend this company the customer service is not there.

We purchased all new drawer and door fronts from Dalar Creek, Couldn't have asked for better service and price, our door and drawer fronts look fabulous! We highly recommend Dalar Creek, a true pleasure dealing with this company.

The cabinets were ok, but the Installation crew was incompetent. It was Dec 11, 2014 and cold, so the crew did all the cutting inside the house. . There was a constant layer of sediment then and for 3 weeks following the installation. My husband is disabled and was confined to a chair in the living room for the entire 6 hours, as they had piled the cabinets around in every previously available space. I was able to climb over & under the furniture to move to another room, but my husband was trapped. He coughed incessantly to clear his lungs as he fought to breathe. The crew could use the carport for storing and cutting the pieces but they wanted to stay warm. Because of the cutting, they kept the door open. I tried to close it for my husband because he was impossibly cold, and couldn't move around enough in the chair to put on a coat but it became difficult to breathe. The next day, when the counter top company arrived, they told me that they NEVER saw or cut indoors because of the sawdust it creates, and did it outside the front door and in the carport. I discovered that the Cabinet installers made a mistake and made the height level with the stove forgetting that the 1 ½ inch countertop still had to be added. Since the countertop was glued on, and everyone was booked solidly until Christmas, I had to hire a handyman to come in and raise the appliances 1.5 inches so that they were level with the countertop. The higher counter is great for women who are 5’8” but I am short, so it is a bit of inconvenience that I have had to get used to. From that point on, my husband breathing problems increased, and 2 months later we discovered that lung tumours had metastasized and he was put into Palliative Care. He passed away in September never having the opportunity to enjoy the new kitchen. The cabinets are a great deal for the price, but I could never recommend them unless different installers are used. It can’t be blamed entirely on communication problems due to language barriers.

Silvertouch did a great job! Sia and Amir were very helpful from start to finish. They are very conscientious and professional. We built a new home and Silvertouch provided us with and installed all the cabinetry. Everything was well done and any adjustments were made without hesitation. The kitchen is truly amazing. We highly recommend.
