I absolutely love my time spent at KLFBBC! All of the trainers are so supportive, knowledgeable, and energetic. They truly care about you and your goals and push you to succeed. KLFBBC fit family members encourage each other throughout the workouts and it so nice to see such positivity from members. I have never been part of a fitness facility that actually cares if you show up or not, it's fabulous to feel like a valued individual (they know you by name) and not just another number. I joined the 6 week challenge and in 5 weeks I am down 18lbs and a ton of inches...and had FUN while doing it!

Lived in Hastings for many years and this place has the worst reputation around! Horrible customer service...the grounds are usually filthy and the owners wouldn't help you with anything if your life depended on it! Do not go to this place! There are many other gorgeous spots around this area!

This is a great place ,people,and fishing,I would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy time away with good hearted fun loving people

We arrived shortly after our daughter, our 2 granddaughters and their great grandmother. Unbeknownst to us, we surpassed the quota they considered a family. Four individuals seems to be the number that is deemed a family unit. Seems ridiculous that a number is given to define a family. There was plenty of room in a cottage that sleeps 6 for us. There would be a $10 a day fee for the extra individuals. Our daughter was given verbal confirmation that we would not be charged this fee. However, this was not observed by the owners. After various forms of discussion and agreeing to pay the $10 a day surcharge for 3 adult members of our family, we were informed that our 4 week rental would be terminated after the first week. This was mind blowing. As for the cottage itself: I did not expect the Taj Mahal but I was expecting a clean cottage. The cottage was old and very dated. Bathroom had mold. There were spider webs along the windows and the paneling was detaching from the studs.

We have been fishing at Ara Lake for over 20 years. Dick and Shirley run a great camp! excellent pike and walleye fishing, great home cooked food, clean well built cabins, solid boats and motors and wonderful hospitality! Grab a couple of rods, a few spoons, some jigs and crankbaits and a few of your best friends and go have a great time!
