Very nice and quiet place!!!

I don't feel safe visiting this site because of Paladin Security. They have a reputation for incident escalation and violence.

I wish I could give this agency less than one star. I initially applied for the job from Toronto due to my background in social work and wanting to gain sustainable employment through the sector. I had a phone interview which consisted of 5 basic questions and was offered the job instantaneously which should have raised my suspicion but it didn't. I agreed to start my employment but when I landed the place was so sketchy I ran back to Edmonton. DO NOT WORK HERE! I ended up finding out that a year later there was a worker who got attacked by one of the youth. They do not double staff for overnight shift! (which is bad policy in my opinion and can create a dangerous circumstance like that which happened to that poor worker). Horrible pay and policies for the price you pay on safety of workers. Management does not care about front-line workers safety concerns

What more could you ask for? Great camp site. Had one black bear come up behind us on the mountain in the morning, but he stayed 50 feet away. Loved it and we would stay again. Seems like Many glacier campground has a much more torn up road.

We had a great experienced camping this year. This place is huge and lots of activities to do.

Great public swimming

A very nice National Park. Love that it is part of a night sky preserve, it does come to life. Tons of hiking and nature to take in.

We come here every year with our kids and they spend a ton of time in the pond and I get to golf while me wife relaxes. It's the perfect family campground.

If you are tired of camping at Banff, Jasper or Kananaskis, Wyndham-Carseland is a good alternative. It seems to be less busy, and close access to a river. People can fly fish. If you are into bird watching, pelicans and ospreys can be seen. Seems like a very relaxing environment. It is especially nice for people living in the east side of Calgary.

Elk Island is such a quick drive from Edmonton - only 20 minutes from the east side of the city. The creatures are what bring us back again and again. There are moose, bison, beavers, pelicans, ducks and all manner of birds. I have never seen and Elk though. We kayak and have hiked a couple of the trails with many more to be seen. Summer, winter, spring and fall all have something to offer

Insanely unorganized. A group of individuals we're in a site orientation and halfway through the orientation, they were told to go home as they were not needed anymore. Way too many stories to share about how unorganized they are, but that one still sears the memory.

Place is great for families. Friendly hosts and beach and park are super close to camping spots. Great trail around lake for walking or cycling

Quiet Campground with very friendly staff! One drawback is the road in. Roads in Saskatchewan are smoother!
